beanman
I honestly cannot believe 20 people voted the Pelini era as the one to do without. Callahan was a bum (I couldnt stand him when he coached my Raiders either). He didnt care about Nebraska or any of its traditions and storied past. At least Bo righted the ship, got us to 9-10 wins per year, etc. True the us against the world mentality obviously went overboard and a change was needed, but I always liked his fire and emotions. Nebraska needs to move on and has moved on...hopefully success follows as well as success for Bo. Cally had 2 bad years. His tenure was short. With Bo I feel like I've been in the Groundhog Day movie with Bill Murray since 2010. Cally was a coordinator change away from winning a lot of ball games. It's a tossup for me but I go with Bo because his poisonous attitude may linger for a year or two. 2 Quote Link to comment
Bowfin
Our loss to Hawaii in '55 was a tough one... ...my uncle was on that team, by the way. Quote Link to comment
