VA Husker Fan
Ohio St at 2/1? Were they ever that high this preseason? Weren't they unanimous or close among the voters preseason? Lots of talent coming back from a championship team and what most would consider the top or #2 coach. Just checked, unanimous AP, 61/64 coaches picked them #1. Quote Link to comment

Red Five
Ohio St at 2/1? Were they ever that high this preseason? Found some preseason 2015 betting odds on Bovada Looks like Ohio St was at 5/2 right before the season after opening at 6/1 following their championship, so them being 2/1 for 2016 makes no sense. Where did these lines come from? For the 2015 playoff teams, their opening and right before the season odds were Clemson 33/1 25/1 Alabama 10/1 7/1 Michigan St 16/1 18/1 Oklahoma 25/1 33/1 Would be nice to be sitting on a Clemson, MSU, or OU ticket right now... Swiv3D
Haha Baylor +900. Once again they will go 9-0 then be exposed as not that good, when they stop playing fcs schools. Not a huge fan of Baylor but I think it would have made a difference if they had there starting qb. Their last game they had a WR playing qb b/c the 3rd string got hurt that game.the worst part is that their 2 minute offense vs. Texas was run plays... That worked just as effectively vs Texas as passing would have with their regular starter. Had they not had a couple big penalties at the end, they might have been able to score a TD by just running it. That also goes to show how terrible Texas was on defense (they had mucho injuries too). Kiyoat Husker
Wow. We should watch this again next fall. Just look at the Big Ten teams they had in the top 25. OSU, Mich St, Michigan, Iowa, Northwestern. Pretty effin' close to how they finished the season. Pretty much nobody was talking about those teams at the start of the season. What was the date on those odds? Quote Link to comment
