Going to be a long season if they can't get dialed in together Baseball's a funny game sometimes. I hope that NU can really turn it around when conference season starts. Playing inside and taking batting practice inside, doesn't replicate playing outside. It's not unusual for northern teams to struggle early in the season\, especially when they head south to play in games. Agreed.....These southern and western schools can be outside pretty much year round Quote Link to comment

Agreed.....These southern and western schools can be outside pretty much year round I know it's a stretch of a comparison, but my son's youth baseball team will hit and field great when they do work at their indoor facility. Then as soon as they go outside for a few practices, it looks like the first time they have ever picked up a bat and glove. It's such an adjustment when getting out onto the real field.
