Williams Hosts Several NFL Receivers

Recommended Posts

There's nine-year NFL veteran wide receiver James Jones. There's Ryan Grant from Washington. There's Jeremy Ross from the Jets. There's Xavier Rush from the Eagles. There's Kenny Bell from the Bucs and Ameer Abdullah from the Lions. There's former Oregon Duck and current Kansas City Chief De'Anthony Thomas. There's the college kid who drove more than 1,000 miles here.

So you write what you see and hear. What you see and hear is respect.
"I love his coaching style," said Thomas, who just started working with Williams for the first time Tuesday. He'd heard about the coach from one of his mentors, Keyshawn Johnson Sr.
Johnson told Thomas he's got to get to Lincoln. Thomas, whom Williams always calls "Mamba," was glad he did.
"It's crazy how he coaches this position," Thomas said. "I feel like he's one of the best coaches I've ever come across. … I feel like he knows how to make the job easier. He knows how to beat corners."
