NUance Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Really? What would you like to replace it, and how? Here's four: Prevent congressmen from being controlled by lobbies and lobbyists. Eliminate pork barrel spending. Cut down government largess. Cut back on Middle East meddling. Illuminate insider stock market trades. I guess these are things specific to fixing our form of democratic republic. And as I look at your question, you may have been asking how we would change our form of gov't to another form. Until folks start paying attention to senate and reps instead of putting so much stock into the president stuff, and start putting stock into local govt and such, nothing is ever going to get better. We will continue down this same road. These "behind the scenes" folks are the ones making it hum. If you want real change, you gotta make the changes there. 3 Link to comment
