Really? What would you like to replace it, and how?

 

Here's four:

  • Prevent congressmen from being controlled by lobbies and lobbyists.
  • Eliminate pork barrel spending.
  • Cut down government largess.
  • Cut back on Middle East meddling.
  • Illuminate insider stock market trades.

 

I guess these are things specific to fixing our form of democratic republic. And as I look at your question, you may have been asking how we would change our form of gov't to another form. I'm not sure what I'd suggest for that. :lol:

it's been said in hre somewhere by someone and im in total agreement. (i think it was Knapper). Until folks start paying attention to senate and reps instead of putting so much stock into the president stuff, and start putting stock into local govt and such, nothing is ever going to get better. We will continue down this same road. These "behind the scenes" folks are the ones making it hum. If you want real change, you gotta make the changes there.
