BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
The Sports Illustrated MLB mock draft has Joba going to the Brewers with the number 16 pick. link It would seem that his performance in the regionals did not hurt his standing. He is listed as the fifth best college pitcher. Quote Link to comment

KansasHusker
ive been sayin since before the season started that he needs to stay another year. he needs to regain his swagger. After his great post-season last year I thought oh man this guys going to be gone after next year...which he still may, but IMO he should stay after a half ass year. He never seemed to have the killer mentality this year and he didn't come up big when we needed him to in our late season slump...he's not the only one that didn't show up to play, but I thought more leadership out of him would have been there. Eric the Red
If he's going in the first round, plus he's got a kid now....99% sure he'll take this offer. Unless he's financially set. Quote Link to comment

Well, Eric, you should be happy. He went 41st to the New York Spankees in the compensation part of the first round. Not as high as he had hoped, I wonder how this impacts things.
