Mavric
Five of the top six are SEC/B1G. Tennessee only has one loss (to the #1 team), can't make the SEC Championship Game and only has South Carolina and Vanderbilt on the schedule. Just waiting for someone to slip. LSU has to win the SEC to get in. Will be interesting to see how far the Ohio State/Michigan loser drops. TCU probably has to win out to be in. If they lose, maybe USC can get in. Otherwise all SEC & B1G in the playoff??? Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Will be interesting to see how far Ohio State falls. One loss to the #2 team isn't terrible. But a big loss at home without a ton of great wins .... TCU controls their own destiny. So does LSU but they'd have to beat Georgia. USC sitting there waiting. One would think a one-loss Pac-12-champion would be in over Ohio State. But it could be close. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
So the top three are pretty obvious: Georgia - Michigan - TCU Polls have USC fourth. If they win the Pac-12 they will definitely be in the playoff. But I wonder if Ohio State won't still be fourth in the committee rankings. I think their resume is probably better. Unless the committee gives USC the bump based on being in position to win a conference and the margin of Ohio State's loss. Also, Armageddon if both USC and Ohio State lose, however unlikely that may be. Alabama likely sitting at #6. Quote Link to comment
