huskernation20
I know this will probably get moved but I just wanted to get some eyes on it. My wife and I are probably coming up to Lincoln from Texas for the Rutgers game for my birthday. We have never been to Nebraska before and I am SOOOOO excited to finally be able to witness a game first hand. This is like a lifelong dream of mine to accomplish. So I you could be so kind: Best Hotel within walking distance to stadium? Foods that we MUST try? Can anyone use some tourist at their tailgate party? Thank you all in advance! Quote Link to comment
Mailman
The Courtyard, Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy and Holiday Inn are all about as close as it gets. You might need to just book whatever you can get at this point now. I doubt any have any openings on game days. Buzzard Billy's in the Haymarket is a cool place with Cajan food, rare for Lincoln. Moiraine
Buzzard Billy's in the Haymarket is a cool place with Cajan food, rare for Lincoln. There are only 4 Buzzard Billy's, so I suppose I'm morally okay with it. But if you're coming all the way to Lincoln you should go to a Lincoln-only restaurant, imho. Like Arby's or Sbarro. 2 Quote Link to comment
ZRod
Sbarro is my favorite local pizza joint! But seriously you can't go wrong with just about anything in the Haymarket. Quote Link to comment
huKSer
Well, considering that the Mormans walked from Illinois to Salt Lake City, try Trump Tower in Chicago. Quote Link to comment
kchusker_chris
Well, considering that the Mormans walked from Illinois to Salt Lake City, try Trump Tower in Chicago. he only will have 1 wife on this walk - so the motivation to get there will be much less. 1 Quote Link to comment
