Is Crouch still a commentator somewhere?

I think he is pretty busy with his business. The playground equipment supply industry. Hopefully we will see him on BTN again sometime. I thought he did a good job as a sideline guy. Well-spoken and insightful.

Those sideline commentators you see in non-conference games do that on a freelance basis and are paid a per game fee. Damon Benning has done it for BTN, as well as Crouch. They definitely can't do it as a full-time job, unless they are picked up full-time by a channel. It's a good start in the business if they want to do it long-term, but difficult to make a career out of it.

Did I dream this up or was Crouch in the booth for awhile?

He might have done a game or two in the booth, as well.

I think it was for Fox Sports, if I am not mistaken.
