  1. I thought that Prince would pick up the nick name MOOK, so we could all say MOOOOOOOOOOOK we he int Lackey next week!!!
  2. Did you all see the suh commercial??? awesome lol!!!

  3. When I first heard this moniker, "Most intelligent fan base in the country??" I assumed that they meant it more in a broader sense. Meaning how the BCS operates, where we rank, how far we are likely to go that season, what really big games to focus on etc. It all really depends on the person making the statement, like it's been said every team has knowledgeable fans, but generally any presumed Husker fan should be able to answer 3 out of the 4 questions. IE see the Husker Man Laws lol.
  4. What about the: cornbinders barn burners Reapers oblivion OWLS Bombs
  5. I had a great spring game, every year we try out different seats and this year we sat right underneath the jumbo tron. It was great to have a wall to lean up against, but I squinting to see any of the other screens. We do need another screen in the south end zone. The bounce rooski got me fired up and CG's long passes. The receiver core and backs were putting in some good work today. Another cool thing the bay door for Hawks field was open and we got to walk around in there. Never been in there before just thought it was cool. Man, I love Husker football and today was one hell of a day to be a fan.
  6. I would have to go first overall also even though some valid points are being made that Detroit is making strides to improve.
  7. Mine is the collection of husker hats i have had throughout the years. I ceremoniously kept the hats i wore to the 72nd and Dodge parties after the championships. My most recent editions and prized are my Husker flags!!!
  8. You may be able to watch it here i couldnt get it to work http://www.fox.com/kingofthehill/ I watched it here http://www.tvcartel.com/fox/king-of-the-hi...smell-of-excess Hope it wasnt a repost
  9. I am a lurker on this board not that i dont have my opinions about certain issues and discussions, but i really just like to keep my finger on the pulse of Husker nation. When i read this Q&A i literally got shivers from it. Wins or loses our love for Husker football and all its traditions goes beyond both. Having men like Tom and Bo at the helm again gives me a since of security that no matter victory or loss the program stays the ever-present course to bettering young men on the field and conveying the ethics of this great state. What a wonderful post had to comment. BRC

  13. Forgive me for beating a dead horse on crowd noise here, but uhhh if you want to talk about our crowd noise the best reference points would be the teams that did in fact beat us at home right? On that point what are their stadiums like, are they used Memorial or is that level of noise during plays something one get used to? On a different point if the blue hairs in the stands would just learn to scream at the right times during the game that help out, that alone would be tremendous? Such as fourth and 1's, field goals etc etc.. In your opinions what would be some of the worst places to play being a visiting team? We are way up on the list, but i imagine that USC has one hell of a cheering section, and i bet Michigan is loud as hell having that many seats, but where else.
  14. I have a love hate relationship with most commentators. I am one of those guys that will turn down the TV and listen to the radio. Some of the best plays that i can remember usually resonate with their voices ex. Tommie's run(TOUCHDOWN TOMMIE FRAAZIER) and the run by Eric/The catch by Eric for the thouchdown(WHO IS THAT< IT"S ERIC CROUCH). The sheer excitment in their voices make the plays all that more better(aside from being there in person). Name all the great Husker commentators? The network guys hardly ever get excited and are usually trying to be unbias, but a great play is a great play they should be more vocal about great plays imo.
