200 yds rushing to this offense? Why do we continue to make mediocre teams look like NC teams? First UCLA, now these guys. Why?

Always rushing 4. If we do blitz, it's always up the middle. Never off the end. So our blitzing back runs into the pile and becomes a non-issue. Nice. I'm sure Pelini has more than one blitz package in his book.

Someone go back into the visiting locker room. They left their tackling hands in there.

I'm not sure if this deep into the season i like to read that "so and so beat out so and so in practice, so he'll get the start this week". Why haven't we achieved continuity on the O-line? And the D-line? Why do we have guys starting on Saturday that havent played many snaps the last 3-4 weeks, just because they had a good week of practice? Something is wrong with that system. I'm all for letting a guy know he's lagging and about to lose his job, maybe take some snaps away from him during the game and increase that if he doesn't get the message, but to have a few bad days of practice one week and lose your starting job? I don't buy that process.

Kenny Bell is awesome! I went to the UCLA game and when the team arrived, he was slapping hands with all the little kids who were standing by to watch the team arrive. Every one of those kids was excited! Glad to see players that interact with the fans. We do need to remember these players are still just 17, 18, 19 year olds! But dang, I tried to get Rex to sign my #22 jersey, but he had his headphones on and I doubt they're allowed to stop and do that. Oh well........

We saw what a two week prep period did for our Defense. Not a lot. Contain Denard on the scramble and let him throw mistakes. That's gotta be our hope.

I have to admit, nothing looks better than when T-mart hits Bell in stride and he just keeps going. The guy has all the makings of a stud NFL receiver. Enunwa is dang tough. The guy is going to be another Hines Ward. Let's get the ball to Allen a few more times too. Turner. We should we trying a lot more bubble screens and such. Hard to divvy up the ball when you have so much talent.

Even if there is a W today, the problems are glaring. This is the best we can come up with after two weeks of prep? The kids look like there isn't any passion. The O-line doesn't look like anything I've ever seen from the Husker pipe-line. We have beasts at RB that could just pound the rock, but we don't. Where's Heard? One carry again this game? Beck forgets who he has on the roster and just loses his mind. But he keeps his job. How/why?

These kids aren't playing with passion. Pelini took that out of them. He has ruined these guys to the point of no return. I feel really bad for these kids that passed up other schools for this mess. Hopefully they're getting a good education, at least?

Each year the team slowly slides down. No progression, no vision. How do you keep a coach around when the train is coming off the tracks? I guess I just don't understand NU politics.
