    All this talk about fixing social security, medicare, and medicaid. Here's an idea: get rid of social security and pay out the rest until it's gone. Then we don't have to worry about it any more.

      IMO, it's kind of like the wars in the middle east. Maybe it won't turn out how we had planned if we just end it but it would be better than letting it drag on and do more damage.

      How would we "just end" that -- and in what possible way can we "just end" Social Security? Neither are realistic scenarios...

      Like I said, stop deducting it from paychecks and pay out whatever is left to anybody that is retired. I'm not sure what that amount would be, but there has to be a way to do it and it needs to be done.
