Is it too late to replace Raiola as our O-line coach?

One of the first times all year where the D-line really surged right at the snap.

Whipple likes going to more of a consistent running game after establishing a lead with the passing game. It's exactly what he did at Pitt.

I'll give the O-line credit on that third down passing play, they picked up the blitzer perfectly.

On the plus side the new field turf looks gorgeous!

Yep. They are either getting pushed back a yard or more or they are just playing pattycake with the O-lineman on passing plays. There is zero surge right now when the ball is snapped.

That's an EASY answer:

I learned that this can't continue. We couldn't run, and we couldn't stop the run. We couldn't get defensive pressure with only 4 guys. The onside kick decision was an atrocious game managment decision. It was the difference in the game. This is Year 5, and nothing's changed. Scott Frost has had plenty of opportunities. This will be Scott Frost's last season at Nebraska as Head Coach.

I do too. That decision literally changed the game.

Reminder that Frost's buyout is reduced in October. This was a must win game for him. This will be his last year as Nebraska's head coach. He had plenty of opportunities.

This game is over. Northwestern knows we can't stop the run.

We're pressing. You can see it at every position. I don't see a win happening folks. Regretfully.

Just think if we didn't make that onside kick decision when we had ALL the momentum.
