  1. I don't know anything about this guy's management style. Has he ever fired a coach at any of this other stops? Hired one? What do we know about this guy's personality that might shed some light on whether Bo will be handed his pink slip?
  2. Why wouldn't you want to change the top dog? He's the cause of all of our problems. Wow. It's amazing that people think that we'll morph into this powerhouse by keeping Bo, but getting a new OC from Alcorn State and a DC from Northern Arizona Univ.
  3. This whole scheme bull crap is the same thing that people said about Callahan. Bo just needs to go. That will help change the scheme.
  4. If he is willing to change all of this I will give him another year. If he cannot or will not then he needs to go. And if that makes me a Boliever, so be it. Dude, please call the gas company out to check the leak in your house. This will happen just as soon as Andrew Luck decides to play arena football next year.
  5. Is there any difference between us and Kansas?
  6. No, it does not mean that, even statistically speaking. Basically, yes, it does mean that. Statistically speaking, a higher ranked team typically beats a lower ranked team. On this simple premise, alone, any team in the top 75 is going to beat any team outside the top 75. Yes, there are exceptions. However, generally speaking, I am correct.
  7. Only three of our ten games have been against teams in the top 75. So, in other words, any team in the top 75, statistically speaking, would be no worse than 7-3 with our schedule. In other words, any coach in the top 75 could do what Bo is doing.
  8. I love how people always claim that coaches will be scared off if we fire Bo. Yet, 90% of the schools in the SEC are firing their head coaches every other day of the week, but they never have trouble filling the vacancies. Any coach above pee-wee level knows that, if you can't win the big games, then you need to go. Simple as that. I'm not sure why we are so emotionally invested in our coach, especially when he has scarcely been invested in us. Get rid of the guy.
  9. I'm pulling for Minny and Iowa. Let's get a new coach. Wish we were like the SEC. If they don't like a guy, he's gone.
  10. Nobody would hire Bo. Look at Terry Bowden. Had a good run at Auburn, including an undefeated season, and San Diego State wouldn't even interview the guy. He ended up at that po-dunk DII school down south. And this was from a guy who did pretty well. Don't forget, nobody wanted to hire Bo before we did. His future is as a D-Coordinator, only.
  11. I honestly would like to see Ron Brown as our head coach.
  12. FU wants a new coach who is good with offense. He could become their next Urban Meyer. I wonder if they are thinking of him. I'd hate to see them take him, then have him become a success, and we'd be sitting here still waiting for Bo to turn the corner.
  13. If Bo was a single guy without a family, I'd largely agree with you. However, when you factor his family in, it just makes it sad.
  14. f'ing lame answer. Let's not forget that these are college kids.
  15. On the human level, I feel bad for Bo. His entire dream is blowing up in front of him. Forget the reasons why the team has fallen apart, or who is to blame. I just feel bad because Bo has tried so hard to make this work, but it hasn't. I feel bad for his family. His little girls have grown up in Lincoln. This is home to them. Sadly, it probably won't be for much longer because of what has happened. Being a father, I couldn't even imagine how hard that news would be to break to my girls that we had to leave town. Most of us want a new coach next year. But let's not forget that there will be real human pain if this comes about. Our little personal inconveniences or disappointments over watching our team lose, is small potatoes compared to the pain that Bo and his family will feel. Yes, Bo gets paid about fifty million a year. And, yes, coaches lives are transitory. That still doesn't mean that there will be pain to go around. My heart goes out to Bo and his family.
  16. I keep quoting John McEnroe, "You can't be serious!" Are you 12? You obviously haven't seen many NE QBs. T_O_B My favorite Johnny Mac quote, "Answer the question JERK." (You're not a jerk. I just like that quote). Be that as it may, "you can't be serious" that you want TA to remain as QB, can you?
  17. Here’s the problem with Gruden. Here are his last six seaons in coaching: 7-9 5-11 11-5 4-12 9-7 9-7 One good season in six. Gruden is clearly a product of hype. Would not want him. Would substantially prefer Bill Cowher.
  18. This is such hogwash. Bo is the problem. He's had a revolving door of coordinators and assistants and has sucked. Why would you want Bo running a team? Seriously? What about him makes you want to bring him back?
  19. Brings to mind my favorite quote of all time. After John McCay's Tampa Bay Bucs had lost about 20 games in a row, he was asked about his team's execution. His response, "I'm all for it."
  20. Wrong. At least our games against Texas were close. More like we're Pacific and Wisconsin is NU 1995.
  21. We were saying the same thing when Shawn Watson was our OC and Barney Cotton was our O-line coach. They're gone, but we still are completely adrift. Do you notice the common denominator?
  22. Here are Bo's big losses in the last 4 years: Wisc 59 NU 24 UCLA 41 NU 21 OSU 63 NU 38 Wisc 71 NU 30 Wisc 48 NU 17 Mich 45 NU 17 We lost these games by an average of 54.5 to 24.5 - - a 30 point difference! How is this even possible?
