How will you define blowout............? Point differential ? 10 or less points allowed ? I expect Northwestern to score a bit on us tomorrow, but not to be able to stop us virtually at all. So, if we were to prevail say.............51 -24.........would THAT be a blowout ? If they move it on us consistently with a mobile QB and make the freshly laundered blackshirts look less than dominant....................is there any amount of points that we can score that would fit the definition of a blowout ? Just interested in your opinion...............

As others have pointed out, there are more roles (thus more opportunities) for shifting strategies on defense....................thus making the argument for more potential blackshirts............. I don't have a problem with the numbers so much as I wish he would award them at the start of the season, and make changes to starters as necessary as the season plays out rather than waiting half of the year and then "surprise".................... What if Persa and the non-traditional offense we see Saturday makes us look a little disorganized and futile ...................do we then rescind the blackshirts and make this a yo-you system throughout the year........??

Gotta disagree with you about Tony Snow..................probably about as well respected by both sides as we have had.......... I agree Perino was more impressed with herself than I was........ And even though Carney is an irritant that somebody should smack......................his predecessor resembled the "Family Guy" from Fox........

I think the Big 10 style suits Doc and his philosophy better than the Big 12, so I cautiously agree with you. But, the bottom line is we need better players. It "sounds" like (if you can believe the coachspeak........) that we are slowly making improvements in that area.........

I took it as his mod position ended, which in my opinion is a good thing. For those that asked where i went, I was always there, I just stopped posting. After being banned for calling out a known multiple troll (who for some reason was obsessed with the fact that I posted on Shaggybevo), I really never felt the desire to post. I would equate it to this. I went to a wedding about 10 years ago that had an open bar. I really liked rum and coke at the time and drank it quite often. I really have no idea how many I had that night, but the fact that I was sick for 3 days after tells me it was probably too much. I've never had the desire to drink it ever since. Glad to see so many familiar faces. I look forward to meeting some new ones. Good to see your transfer of the seemingly unlimited clip library as well..........................

Doc's teams have more injuries than any other basketball teams in history........ I wonder if he needs to look at some of the training/practice methods.............? Never-the-less.................I think his style of play will translate better to the Big 10 than it did in the Big 12
