  1. I think we can all agree that he already redeemed himself from the end of the 2nd quarter on out on Saturday...
  2. From our perspective, the main call that was clearly called correctly was reviewing the spot on their second-to-last play. If that one had not been reviewed, 100% of us would be saying the officiating was terrible. But they got that one right, and that's an objective perspective. He clearly didn't cross the marker. They reviewed it. Ball had a stroke. They lost the game.
  3. I'll go out on a limb and bet that their reviews of even the non-football aspects would have been "higher" had they not squandered a 21 point spot.
  4. Agree with the OP - Ameer deserves huge props. It's really all about rotation at this point. Regardless of who's getting more carries or being more effective, the main thing is that Rex isn't going to be gassed by the end of the 3rd quarter. You could see that paying huge dividends for our ground game in the 4th quarter.
  5. This one's probably biggest for me. Ability level only takes you and the team so far until you start melting down. He doesn't melt down anymore, basically not at all. He's starting to get that fifth sense when he needs to tuck it and run it. And the thing that's actually allowing that to happen is that our line is buying him the time to do that. Those two things working in tandem are changing our offensive attack completely.
  6. And Stafford makes up for his 1st half blunders. Hell yes.
  7. There's the intensity. There's the drive and passion to win. More long drives like that, please!
  8. Again: F*ck our offensive effort. No effort. No brains. Aimless and scattered.
  9. I'm still going to ridicule you. Please...PLEASE for the good of us all...close your account on this board.
  10. Great drive. Our offensive effort on those first two drives were what kept us out of this f*cking game though. Bo...if you don't adjust on defense in the half I swear...F*CK.
  11. Husker football is officially no longer relevant. F*cking sh!t. How it's even possible to recruit such sh!t talent on defense with our level of tradition is just...unbelievable.
  12. F*ck our zone read. F*ck that sh!t. Why the F*CK would we run that sh!t two plays in a row inside their 20?
  13. ^^^^^That was pretty harsh. Trash talk means nothing, but having a quality reputation does. The "talk" gets sorted out by 18-22 year-olds on the field. Welcome to the forum, and good luck Saturday.
  14. A quiet humility and consideration that put others before himself. A great model of a man.
  15. The reason that your perspectives come off as so obnoxious "Seriously?" is because you act as if you have the whole picture already. Here's an indisputable fact: Bo's complete story hasn't been written yet. That's inarguable. Maybe he'll get worse. Maybe he is plateauing. But maybe he's getting much, much better. None of us know for sure. His recruiting classes have turned around for the better since the 2008-2009 seasons. But you don't see the positives, because you don't want to.
  16. By the way, check out Choi's wide pull and isolation on their DB. I know it's Idaho State. But it was still awesome.

  18. I'm worried about this to say the least. Quality linebacker play could mean the difference between losing only one more game and losing 2 - 3 more. Not worried about their passing game? That's fine. As long as we blitz. No blitz = huge problems. See: UCLA.
  19. I've followed this entire thread, but wanted to comment on this and other insightful posts you've made in this sub-section. This is the kind of humble and progressive thinking that can actually start to change things within the voter populous. Pointing out what both sides are doing wrong. Talking about specific issues. I greatly applaud that. Even just within a community like this, it can really make a difference. I wish that Ryan would have brought some of his more libertarian views to the table with this vice presidency bid. He hasn't - he's sold himself out, and although I know this comment is harsh, only the stupidest of registered voters would applaud the guy for anything that he's brought to the table. I mean, he's well polished...almost to a robotic degree. But he's making himself out to be a "Mini-Mitt" in his contradictions even in the short amount of time he's had the spotlight so far. I am disappoint.
