I think that's part of Diaco's defense. It's always (that I've seen - haven't watched the whole thing) the Boundary OLB that has his hand down. That spot is closer to a DE while the Field OLB is closer to a Nickel/Safety.

Yup, I hated that format. I prefer any format where the top units face off against each other. I dislike the mixed/draft format because we don't see the depth chart or the top units against each, so I'd prefer the offense vs defense like last year as compared to this year's format. But my top choice would be the old 1's and 4's vs 2's and 3's where the #1 offense vs #1 defense are opposite each other and face-off against each other. This guy gets it too.
