  3. Yes. Do we have a Steven Jackson or Jaquizz Rodgers on the roster right now? I'm not sure. Also, Riley was calling the plays at Oregon State. He is not calling the plays at Nebraska. Yes. But I don't care what other teams are doing. I care about what I see us doing. Exactly. It concerns me that even with a QB that completed only 55% of his passes and nearly led the country in interceptions that we still insisted on throwing it 35 times per game (2015). Better last year after Riley seemed to have given him an ultimatum that he had to run the ball more (30 attempts per game). But you couple that with Langs insisting that we're an inside zone team - which doesn't lend itself to big running plays - and the fact that he tends to get impatient with the running game and I'm not convinced that having a QB that is a much better passer will suddenly convince him to invest more in the running game.
  4. Good deflection. Yes, I should have said "others" instead of "I".
  5. I don't really know. Just speculating.
  6. Living in Minnesota, I haven't deciphered Nebraskas budget but I do know that despite a $900M deficit, Republicans are trying to still figure out how to cut more taxes even though they claim low tax revenues are partly to blame. So you're accusing people of things that didn't happen. That's nice ... I guess. Might want to look at what the previous Republican governor did that was a lead up to what Nebraska is facing now. So do you actually know that it was changed or are you just going to keep stabbing hoping you hit something? I can't find anything that shows any major changes in the last 30 years.
  7. Unlikely, and he'd be a bit crazy to stay. If he has the skill Reilly says he has, he could start in a lot of places. No reason to spend his career on the bench at Nebraska. It would depend if/when he left though, right? Tanner has 2 years, so 2019 would be either POB (RsJr.) or Gebbia (RsSo). If POB were to transfer after the during/after the fall season, I think he's sitting until 2019 anyway. If he doesn't win the job this year. it would only be prudent for him to transfer. Otherwise he's risking sticking around for two years and still have to compete for the job. As to when, I guess it depends on when they really announce the winner. You'd think he'd want to leave before the fall semester starts.
  8. He's injured so I'm guessing that's why he wasn't listed.
  9. Ouch. We started out up 8-0. 22-6 runs against you don't help.
  10. They're still only Sophomores; they've got some time to make a contribution. It is surprising to see Bootle and Joseph over them, though. I'm curious about that as well. Lee sounded like he was right in the mix last fall. Not sure what to think about that. Yes, they're just sophomores. But there are Freshmen on there and they aren't. Pretty legitimate question as to why.
  11. Collin Miller had been slated at ILB but a toe injury may make him miss spring practices.
