  1. Couldn't really find any explanation on this - they just tweeted it. So I don't know much about how they're calculating their Rating. But the jist of most of what they do is how well you're doing after adjusting for the relative talent of opponents. Hard to see but Riley is #29. By my count we are #23 in Roster Talent Differential.
  2. I'd say it's pretty much a wash Trading Oregon at home and Wyoming for Arkansas State and traveling to Oregon is basically the same. We trade @ Indiana, @ Ohio State and Maryland for tOSU at home, Rutgers and @ Penn State. So @ Penn State is definitely tougher than @ Indiana but trading Wisconsin, Ohio State and Iowa from all road games to all home games mostly offsets that. Home slate is probably the most interesting in several years.
  3. Depends on what it's being compared to and how the metric is calculated. On the raw performance metric above, we got a B+. On the raw numbers, that's probably about right as we've been pretty decent. But that doesn't appear to be taking into account the relative strength of the offenses we've faced, which has been pretty poor. Last year we were decent against the run (on a per play basis) and terrible against the pass. This year we're below average against the run and pretty decent against the pass. So I would say that's a marginal improvement. I give the coaches credit for almost completely changing our defensive scheme which has definitely made a difference. But we've also played a lot of offenses that are almost totally lacking legit play-makers. Oregon has some and we had trouble stopping them. Ohio State had a lot and .... well......
  4. On a side note, pretty excited to be attending my first volleyball game in the Bob tomorrow night.
  5. I would say the athletic department is trying to get rid of it and is disappointed that people keep bringing it up.
  6. Also, TA joined Maurice on the All-B1G team for the week.

  9. What did it say? Originally said Nebraska missed their first 24 shots from inside the three point line. Apparently corrected it to "only" the first 16.
  10. Yeah, I kind of figured you were at least somewhat joking. Just thought I'd add onto it.
  11. Not even considering Iowa, which isn't a surprise. Visiting Arkansas and Mississippi in December. Visiting Colorado in January. Also considering Texas and TCU.
