  1. Listed at 6-4, 225. Same height but 15 lbs lighter than Carter. So he would need to add some weight to be a blocking force. But as a receiving target he probably wouldn't be that far off. We're going to be pretty short at WR after this year so kind of a TE/WR hybrid would be handy.
  2. MRI didn't explain it a lot but he did allude to the fact that Bo's attitude was closer to that. But he said that attitude didn't carry through the rest of the team.

      RIP Harper Lee.

  6. There is a 2 year gap between coaching at Penn State and coaching at Temple. Not sure what it implies but that might explain the lateral move as James Franklin was hired in 2014 Yeah, I was confused on that as well. On that page it shows a gap. But in an article I found about him being hired at Temple it said he was at Penn State "last year." But you're right that it would make sense that he simply wasn't retained by Franklin.
  7. 1 - Have some interest in Nebraska football 2 - Have access to message board or web site related to said football team 3 - Be able to type at least semi-coherent sentenses 4 - ??? 5 - Profit
  8. Played and coached at Penn State - Good Originally from New Jersey - Good Went from Penn State to Temple for the same job - ???
  9. Pretty much exactly what I said when people tried to pick apart TA's comments a couple months ago. It's a phrase used a lot as a rallying point for the team to come together. Widely used in sports. It's not meant to try to be exclusive. People who want to have something to make a big deal over try to make it a big deal.
  10. There's a paid article on HOL about this now. Apparently they wanted to ask Rose-Ivey about it after the following Twitter exchange last month: Michael Rose-Ivey ‏@Rose_IveyNB15 2016 starts tomorrow.. We believe in us and that's all that matters #GBR B. Reilly ‏@brandonreilly87 Jan 19 B. Reilly Retweeted Michael Rose-Ivey Let's get it ✊🏼 Matthew Bonham ‏@MrTubaMan @brandonreilly87 @Rose_IveyNB15 Husker fans believe in you too. It's not you against the world anymore guys. #GBR #HuskerNation Michael Rose-Ivey @Rose_IveyNB15 It never was.. Y'all gotta chill with that HuskerOnline asked MRI about it. He said (summarizing) that it never was the team vs. everyone else. It was the entire program - team, coaches, fans, tradition, etc. - everyone who believed in the team was the "us". Says it got blown way out of proportion. Also said that there never was a divide in the locker room (I'm assuming referring to guys still loyal to Bo vs. Riley). He said it's pretty frustrating when people try to label what's going on with the team when they really don't know. Here's the link
  11. This is pretty much where I'm at as well. They had them at one time. They repeatedly refused inspections or whatever else was asked of them over a 10-ish year period. They sure seemed to be hiding something. They had to go somewhere. I don't know where or when but something doesn't make sense. And I don't know where the line should be drawn for when we would go to war to depose someone. But Saddam was brutal to his own people. He had been in wars killing people from other nations. The world is a better place with him gone. I don't know that it justifies the means but it's not the worst outcome either. Careful with those last two sentences... The short increase in AQ's influence and the rise of ISIS are both a direct result of diposing Saddam. You could argue he was the lesser evil. But you could also argue that diposing him and the rise of ISIS has also open the door to engage with Iran in a more meaningful way. At present I don't know which is better. A sadistic dictator who we could crush at will, or a festering terrorist group that occupies and entire region. No. They are only indirect results of deposing Saddam. They are direct results of not handling the situation correctly after he was gone.

  15. Says Nebraska, Oregon, Stanford, Washington and LSU are schools he's looking at for OVs. I'm assuming USC and UCLA are still in his top group, just doesn't need to take OVs there.
  16. Counting how long it takes to vote on a nominee is only one part of the process. One has to be nominated first. And even then that's assuming the vote is to approve the nominee. Link So it's not at all unheard of. And that's before account for the fact that these situations have become (seemingly) more political than they were in previous years.
  17. Trump is an idiot. If the Republicans nominate him, they deserve to lose. Of course, if they don't nominate him, he may run as an independent and really screw over the GOP. So there's that. As far as the Pope goes, I'm not sure being that judgmental is the most Christian thing to do either.....
