  1. Reed at least looks the part https://twitter.com/A_Reed20/status/633489859328389120
  2. I don't know where anyone would get the idea that ESPN has any SEC bias, Mr. Herbstreit. Just look at ESPN.com... all conferences are fairly represented. Current main page: Current ESPN CFB main page:
  3. Per Phil Steele: Most CFB Wins Since 1975: Nebraska-389; Ohio State-366; Florida State & Oklahoma-365

  4. Me too. I think that our offensive snaps per game will go down as a lot of the up-tempo no huddle will be gone. That's a good point. If we're running, say, 10 fewer plays per game, the number of passes might not change even though the percentage goes up.
  5. Apparently it's for the Southern Mississippi game but he didn't seem to up on the details.
  6. Just a random note to brighten your day:
  7. I'm curious to see what the run/pass mix is. TA averaged 26.5 attempts per game last year. So I won't be surprised if it's in the 30-35 range this year. But a lot of the increase will probably be screen passes which is a good way to go, imo. Not sure how many screens you "can" run in a game but from the sounds of it, they're working on it quite a bit in practice. Different varieties too. RB and WR screens ... even TE screens apparently. So we might see 3-5 screen passes each game.
  8. Yeah, I saw that as well. We lost some guys in the off-season and had some injuries. I'm assuming he's including guys missing practice with injuries in that comment. If we get guys healthy, I would think we're OK. We lost ... what ... 2-3 guys over the summer so probably short a guy or two.
  9. This isn't meant as a critique, just noting that there is adjusting to be done. And mainly noting that Langsdorf is calling the plays (I'm assuming that will continue). Link
  10. Langsdorf said all the installation is now in so they'll start figuring out what they want to focus on.
  11. OK. Not exactly like the other thread. But Football.com asked some questions of three media guys who've been covering the Huskers this fall for their insights.
  12. Morning practices all week until Saturday afternoon. Don't have to wait so long for our daily dose of Husker.
  13. Little snippet from Teach's Insider thread. I wanna hear more about Sutcliffe. He was highly touted a couple years back when he came out of high school. Might be good! I really haven't seen any specifics. But several media guys are now saying that Brown is clearly better. Kicking FGs at least. I haven't seen anything about kickoffs.
  14. Ha! Nice work. I could buy it right up to the splits. That got me wondering as I've not seen too many linemen who looked like they could do that.
