  1. I'm guessing the lack of offers has mostly to do with the fact that he was tOSU's first commit in this class and isn't going anywhere.

  3. Thanks for the input. And welcome to the board!
  4. Severe knows something. My guess is Cross might leave? I dont really see a huge logjam at DL.. Lots of talent but think guys will be graduating and they run a rotation a bit. Cross ain't going anywhere. He is a senior and its a little late to leave. I think he meant the odd man out between Wilbon, Stephenson, and Taylor. Yeah, I don't think anyone is leaving at this point. But could be some attrition after everyone sees where they fall this season. I'm not sure about his comments on the line. We have a lot of questions marks among the younger guys on the DLine and we lose six seniors on the OLine so there will be some spots available.
  5. Penn State #1 Nebraska and Wisconsin T-5 Illinois #8 Ohio State #14 Michigan State #19 Not too shabby.
  6. As a Broncos fan, this might be the only good thing I say about the Chiefs all year but this is good to see:
  7. Also, saying "we have absolutely no clue" about the interceptions isn't accurate. If all you read is this thread, that's right. But if you read the practice reports, there isn't much doubt. Not having some top WRs doesn't help but that doesn't mean the first-string guys are always doing everything right or exactly in the right spot. Not to mention read the coverage so you don't throw it right to a LB. It's the QBs job to adjust and make a good throw.
  8. You have to decide your perspective of either, "playing against a great defense is causing Tommy to struggle but will only make him better", or "Tommy shouldn't be struggling this much in practice against our defense, and that doesn't bode well for what happens when he goes up against better defenses. Tommy could have easily had 50% more interceptions last season had defenders done a better job of securing balls thrown straight to them - I can think of 8 absolute gimmes off the top of my head just from USC and Purdue. A lot of those, you'd hope, were due to the over flexibility of Beck's system. Agree with this. I definitely give some leeway in learning a new system and not having some of the top WRs out there. However, I have two big issues. One, it was in 7-on-7 so it's not like he was hindered by pressure or line of sight being blocked. Two, there are too many INTs to LBs. If a corner or safety makes a good play on a ball, props to them. But when you're routinely throwing INTs to LBs, you're not seeing the field very well. Which is particularly troubling in 7-on-7.
  9. Part of the deal on Collins is he is double-teamed on basically every play. If he isn't double-teamed, he pushes the blocker back several yards and gets in the quarterback's face. I'm not trying to say he's on Suh's level but here's a little comparison: Collins - 2014 - Soph - 45 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries Suh - 2007 - Soph - 34 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 1.0 sacks, 4 quarterback hurries Suh - 2008 - Junior - 76 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, 7 quarterback hurries Again, not saying Collins will get to the same level, but his stats compare favorably. He stats from his Sophomore year are much better compared to Suh's sophomore year and not that far behind Suh's Junior year. Not as many tackles but pretty comparable other than that. A sack, a hurry and a few tackles is a pretty good game for a DT.
  10. Alonzo Moore dropped a ball?!?! I know. Crazy right. Although several guys reported that "other than the one drop" he actually had a pretty good night. Getting lots of chances with the injuries to WR right now.
  11. Kaz is a wife beater. It will be interesting to see what "good situation" he finds in coaching Yeah, I don't know any specifics as to what happened, heck nobody does. But sometimes there are two sides to those situations. It could be his wife posturing for a divorce. Or maybe he actually is a wife beater. I thought the police report was he threw a plate (or something similar). Not sure if it hit her directly or broke and hit her or what exactly. Definitely not making excuses for him or trying to down-play it but it didn't sound like he beat her up.
