He didn't have a pick against Miami. I just checked the official stats Dang. You're right. The orange unis threw me. I guess just the one that got called back was against Miami.

Great video. Gregory was/is a beast. It's a little bit of both as far as how much we'll "miss" him this year. Games like the Miami game, he was a monster. But he also didn't play at all in three games and either missed parts of games or was slowed in several others. So he didn't have as big of an effect on as many games as he could have. Yes, and NU struggled in games in which he wasn't able to play. Gregory won't be able to play in any games this year. I think Rush End could be a problem position for NU this year. Yes, the scheme will be different and probably more aggressive. But, I am not a fan of "big, slow" DE's. The rush end may be more more aggressive, but it won't matter if the rush end isn't fast enough to get to the QB. Nebraska struggled in games he did play too. Where's his film against Wisconsin? USC? I wish we had his talent with this scheme but he wasn't a great player for us last year for various reasons. Gregory didn't play against USC. He had a "concussion". That was Iowa. He had four tackles against USC.

Absolutely no way I'd take a moral victory instead of a real vicotry but that's why everyone gets to have their own opinion. I think you just answered this but I want to make sure I understand because I just don't think this way. So, you would rather have 10 wins and a repeat of that 408 game against Wisconsin than to have only 9 wins while playing competitively in the losses? Definitely not all of the games that have gotten labeled as "blow-out losses" over the last few years are to that level. UCLA, Michigan State and Iowa in 2013 were termed "blow outs". So were Ohio State and Georgia in 2012 (plus Wiscy II). Same with Wisconsin and Michigan in 2011. But considering we have almost an identical schedule to last year, I'd trade beating Michigan State, Wisconsin or winning a bowl game for still getting "blown out" once. I guess if you really want to get to specifics I probably wouldn't trade one of the worst games in program history for beating Minnesota but I wouldn't call that a huge improvement either.

As far as I know, Janovich is not on scholarship. Fyfe was last year, though his status for this year seems to be in question.huskers.com says he received a scholarship prior to his sophomore year, maybe it was just for the season Did some checking and you're right. I'll get it updated. Thanks.
