  1. Yeah, that didn't seem to be what Gunderson meant when he said it but apparently something else started to make the media question it. But we're at 20 now and could get two more today. So it almost had to be what Gundy meant.
  2. A mizzou coach tweeted that he committed. Not sure if I am buying an Iowa scout insider. I'm kind of with you on this. I wonder if he told them he's committed but wanted to wait to make an announcement.
  3. Rob Howe ‏@HawkeyeInsider 25m25 minutes ago Terez Hall (@Terez2015C) said assumption he committed to #Missouri inaccurate. Has not committed anywhere. May announce on signing day.
  4. Both the 19 and 23 numbers seemed to be one short of what we could take. The speculation was we were holding the last spot for Lewis as it was unsure if he was committing before NSD. I think we'd take him if he want in. Looks like he may be close to a decision now.
  5. Closing in on the end. 20 commits and probably two more. The only question is if the 19 didn't include the four early enrollees, that would mean 23 could have been the number. Talan and Paulo seem to be the only targets at the moment. Wonder if there's an unknown or we just would have taken another LB (or someone else) if they wanted in. QB - 0 RB - 1 - Ozigbo WR - 2 - Morgan, Alston TE - 1 - Snyder OT - 2 - Gaylord (Paulo) OG/C - 2 - Decker, Barnett DT - 2 - C. Davis, K. Davis DE - 2 - Neal, Davis LB - 4-5 - Young, Ferguson, Barry, Reed (Talan) CB - 2 - Lee, Anderson S - 2 - Williams, Sykes LS - 1 - Ober

  7. And with the commitment of Ober, we're now at 20 commits and very likely at least two more. Gunderson had said a week ago that the number was 19 but there have been questions ever since about whether that included the four early-enrollees. Really looks like it doesn't now. There almost has to be at least a couple guys that the staff already knows are gone.
  8. Yeah, this would be a possibility. Especially with the guys coming in behind him if he slips any more.
  9. Gerry just tweeting about getting everyone lifting tomorrow. Pretty sure he's still here. Alexander has been tweeting more in the last month. Haven't heard anything about him not being back but he doesn't give any indication that he's not coming back.
  10. Everyone knows where posts directed at other posters belong. Keep them there.
  11. Joe Montana says "Hi" I grew up with my first words being 'Go Joe' according to my mom, as a huge 49ers fan, but there's nothing that Joe has done that Tom hasn't done and possibly surpassed, at least numbers wise. 4-0

  14. Well, that answers that question. Ober committed which puts us at 20. I'd say we're getting 22 or maybe even 23. There almost has to be some guys who the staff already knows are gone.

  16. LAVAN ALSTON ‏@lavan954alston 4h4 hours ago Thank you to all of the UNIVERSITY of NEBRASKA fans for all the support! @Huskers @wideouts #honored #blessed
  17. As ADS said above, he's deciding between Nebraska and Temple.
  18. Courtney Love, and the safety Singleton. I already have all three of those off my list. With the current 19 commits we are two over the 85 limit so some have to be leaving, just not sure who.
  19. White, Smith, Watson, Morrow & whoever we get in the future. The upcoming class proves that Miles can bring players to NE to play. Right now our biggest issue is starting good D1 talent, which we are not and forcing Pettewey & Shield to do too much. Eh, he's shown he can get transfers. High school players, not so much. Smith has looked good early. Hopefully it improves. Morrow & Watson who are both 4 start HS players. Plus, he is getting the higher rated players to visit. This is much better then past coaches. I'm hopeful but will withhold judgement until I see them on the court. Everyone was pretty stoked about Tai Webster as well.
  20. With the rash of commits from recruits for the 2015 class today, it confirms what was widely speculated for some time now: There will have to be some current members of the Husker team that will be departing before their full allotment of time is completed. So the question is, who's it going to be? Right now, there has to be two current members leave early. Depending on how many recruits we take, it could be up to five. What's your guess? My first pick is at least one QB. Whoever is third out of Armstrong, Stanton and Darlington will likely leave. I wouldn't rule out two QBs transferring. My second pick always has been TE David Sutton, who would be a fifth-year senior. However, with the new staff set to put more TEs on the field, I'm not sure about him anymore. Mauro Bondi seems to be a name floated around a lot. Also would be a fifth-year senior so he could transfer elsewhere and play immediately upon graduation. After that, I don't see many likely candidates. But I'm sure I'm missing someone.
  21. Huskers get their third commit of the day in three-star WR Lavan Alston. Not only is he the third of the day but the Huskers covered the country well by pulling Alston out of California, joining commitments from Florida and Tennessee today.
  22. Defensive end Alex Davis kept the ball rolling with a commitment of his own. Davis is a three-star out of West Palm Beach, Florida.
