Agree. There were a lot of factors that rolled into a "slow" sellout last year. The team hadn't gotten over the hump. Growing distaste for Pelini. No active waiting list due to everyone getting into the expansion. It will be interesting to see how quickly things turn over this year. New coaches usually bring renewed enthusiasm. Probably go significantly quicker this year.

There was somewhat of a to-do about ticket renewals last year. I'm sure there was some unhappiness with the previous staff playing into it but they said about 95% renewals is pretty standard. That's 4000-5000 tickets that come open each year. Probably be pretty similar this year so they just want people to know that there is an opportunity to get them.

What happened to Gabriel Miller? career ending back injury. Sounds like he got it lifting weights. Didn't play last year and as the year went on it started to look like he wouldn't ever get back (no pun intended). Apparently he won't.

According to incoming walk-on Brody Cleveland, the Huskers are planning a "Walk-On Day" sometime after NSD. No details but I'm assuming a time for some guys to come in, meet the staff and check out the facilities. Sounds like a great plan.

Looks like he's a true junior this year so he would have one left to play.

Most of the stories I've seen seem to indicate that Banker runs a regular 4-3 but there have been a couple hints from recruits that there is some sort of "Star" position that his a hybrid LB/S that they use for their Nickel package. Barry mentioned that's where we are looking at him. Could be this guys fits the mold. But I think he's got to be a plan B that I don't think we'll need.
