  1. Dan Hoppen ‏@danhoppen 3h3 hours ago Former #Huskers LB Will Compton set a career high with 7 tackles for Washington in his second career start yesterday.
  2. Valor lost for the first time in 28 games against in-state opponents but Lee had 157 yards on six catches including a TD.
  3. Ran into a buzz saw last week as they lost 55-14. Bussey only had 81 yards on 22 carries but did catch six passes for 89 yards including a 65 yard TD.
  4. I did include punts by and punts against but I didn't find numbers on return yards.
  5. There are 128 on the list, all FBS teams including the independents (ND, BYU, Army, Navy)
  6. Other than that not being Ameer in the photo....
  7. Nebraska on BTN ‏@BTN_Nebraska 4h4 hours ago Go behind the scene w/ @Huskers RB Ameer Abdullah. Watch The Journey TV show Wed @ 9:30p ET & follow @BTNJourney. http://snpy.tv/1FrQREZ
  8. This is true. They are two of the three Power 5 uneatens and two teams whose only loss is to those unbeaten teams. You really can't argue with Ole Miss or MSU being at the top right now and Alabama and Auburn have the two "best losses." The only caveat I'd throw in is who is the best win among those four (other than beating each other)? Probably Auburn's win against a KState team that killed itself. Next would be Alabama over West Virginia?
  9. 58 is easy. Last few years (55, 20, 26, 39, 52). If the B1G was worth anything right now we'd be sitting in the 20-30's. Still some time for it to all play out, but looking ahead I'd expect we'd end up with a rank around 55th again. Pretty week considering how many Power5 teams there are. I'm assuming those are year-end numbers for the previous years. Other than MSU, our schedule is pretty back-loaded. It's still relatively easy but I'd guess it will end up 4th out of those six years - kind of in the middle.
  10. Agree. He didn't even try to make it look like anything but a block. If he make contact for a second then at least tries to turn and look at the QB, he probably gets away with it.
  11. Lol, funny you say that. In the 1 game we lost, we won the turnover battle until a interception with 20~ seconds left. We had the ball TWICE in their territory after we forced turnovers and didn't score any points off them. So, yeah that pretty much throws that notion out the window. Turnovers are more or less an opportunity stat, sure you can force some if you are really good defensively, but it also requires some luck and being in the right spot at the right time (Gregory interception against MSU) Not to nit-pick but both teams had three TOs before the last pick. We ended up -1 for that game. But we did have chances that we wasted.
  12. Eh, it's not very good. Of those teams, the two with the easiest schedules are Marshall and East Carolina. The next four easiest are Nebraska, Michigan State, Ohio State and Minnesota. Although, to be fair, there has only been one game between those four B1G teams Some of the other teams in the Top 25 have played several teams already so that helps. Our schedules are more back-loaded the way things turned out.
  13. AA Third in CBSSports.com rankings
  14. That reminds me - I forgot to add Defensive Third Down Conversion Percentage. We're 6th both ways.
  15. We are turning it over about half a time per game less and taking it away about half a time per game more. Doesn't seem huge but it makes a big difference.
  16. We're #53 in Turnover Margin per Game. LINK That doesn't sound so great, but last year we were #119 for the year. So, a fair amount of improvement since last season. But still got some work to do. As an aside, the Northwestern game this past week was the first game we haven't fumbled in for several years. Anyone catch this stat? I can't remember where I saw it. I saw that too. I think since the first game of the 2012 season.
  17. Didn't see the play until just now but that's pretty blatant. They were both grabbing on to each other but the ND WR is making no attempt to get away and then looks to see if the pass is caught.
