We are the worst team in the big ten by far. But yet the university and hype machine want us to believe we are still a power so they can charge buckets of money to watch and suppoert the team. People whine about the blue hairs...they are the only ones that can affors to be at games every week.

This is going to be atleast 3 years before we will contend for the west. The talent level and football intelligence is so piss poor. But this is what i see in the classroom everyday from students also so it isnt a surprising. I accepted this would take awhile. It just pisses me off how the players are pampered like they are big time college players. They are not. It is time to do a "major league" to them and make them ride buses and take away the hot tub.

yes armstrong f'd up...just like he had been all day...so is he calling the plays? is he making a decision to throw the ball with a minute left against a team that hasnt been able to move the ball all day. kicking the FG maybe...but how reliable is the kicker? you punt the ball into the corner. make them go at least 80yds. send pressure so the QB doesnt have time to beat your pathetic CBs deep. they have no timeouts and would have less than 40secs....there is no way this is not on the coaches!

I remember when someone told me who we hired as a coach and i said "who the F is that guy?" There is a reason he was unknown. He was a very average coach at oregon state. his teams went nowhere. So NU hired him. I would have rather had a coach from a midmajor that was winning and young and passionate.

Everybody that has ever played, watched or read about football knows you run it and run the clock down. you then punt with less than 40 seconds left. they have to go a minimum of 80 yds to win. They have no timeouts and have not been good on offense either. This coach was a nobody with a .500 winning average in a Pac 12 league. His teams were known to be undisciplined on the field and give away penalties. Why the hell did we hire him. He wants to throw the ball like the Pac 12...didnt we go through this once with BC??? NU is a running team!!!!!!!!!!! Nebraska is a running state!!!!!!!! stop screwing around with what we have been and what we are!!!! This group is not capable of coaching on this level. they proved that at oregon state. I do not want to hear about when TO started and complaints were heard. Times are different. Recruiting is different. I am sure it is economically not possible to make a change but the AD or whomever should be fired for this hire!

The kid mad a stupid move...i put that on coaching either past or present...doesnt matter...i want to see what riley does now. He has a history of undisciplined teams that have many penalties. He needs to send a message by suspending this kid for a game. Not because he may or may not have cost us the game but because that penalty was inexcusable and is not what true husker fans want to see out of the kids representing our state pride. The kid made a mistake...must now pay for it..learn from it...and we all move on

There used to be some guys that would create great highlight videos after each game with music. Are those still being created? Am I missing them somewhere? I like to make my students in Kansas watch them on fridays. thanx

i agree. the players played hard. losing is part of the game but how you lose is important. i think the players can hold their head high.....BUT....beck once again show he is an idiot. trick plays inside the 5. throwing when u need 3 yards and have 2 plays and have one of the best rbs in the country. beck lost the opportunity for the players to tie the game late or even to win...
