  1. He is taking the same position at UNC. So it was the pay? He also killed my father...and raped my mother! Dude rape jokes are bad taste
  2. Reports are saying they hired Papuchis to coach their db's
  3. Ummmm....you don't follow the recruiting page much? Ummmmmmmmmmmmm ...OK I guess not today. I was just trying to have some off season fun not trying to take a shot at anyone. Just saying that his mom has been posting under his thread for a long time. Ok thanks, that makes sense. I had seen that but I had totally forgotten. Norvell it is
  4. I think Marlon was a 5 star to some some sites, as well as Baker being a 5 star, but I don't think either of them were #1 at their respective positions....
  5. I agree and thats why I am really starting to shy away from anything ESPN. You think they would've learned their lesson when they had USC pegged as the #1 team a couple years ago and they ended up folding like a lawn chair. Its all miserable, its my opinion that Mich. St. should be four, but two teams from the weak BIG would make them all look worse than they do.
  6. Here is a name that hasn't been named, Henry Ellard, former Saints WR coach. No real connections and I know he got fired, but he's a young guy with NFL experience.
  7. He also had wide receiver such as Brandon cooks and Marcus Wheaton.....chill
  8. Its been quiet but I have heard that Danny Langsdorf is the leading candidate for the offensive coordinator spot, its just word of mouth but I haven't seen much posted lately concerning potential candidates. Also I heard that Mike Johnson could come in as wide receivers coach (was offensive coordinator at UCLA in 2011, but has recently been at a high school). Both these guys have ties to Riley, just wanted to know if anyone else is hearing anything on potential candidates?
  9. Haha yeah thats my bad, didn't mean to make ya look bad Hedley. As I said I am at work and can't get to twitter so I was just going off what I was told......but since Footballscoop reported it, it has got to be true..
  10. If this is the case I am all for it. He is a younger guy and from various pictures like the one above he seems to have a lot of intensity which would be great to bring to the program.
  11. For some reason I can't edit, apparently he was the Oregon State wrestling team's strength and conditioning coach in 2012 http://www.osubeavers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=30800&ATCLID=207911900
  12. He was at Oregon state at one point, I also googled his name and it has him listed but nothing under his bio. I think he may have been a D tackle at Southern Illinois, must have really shed the weight after his playing days. http://www.siusalukis.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/philipp_mark00.html Can't tell if thats him or not....
  13. Saw on Cavanaugh's twitter that Nebraska hired Mark Philipp from USC, has ties to Oregon State, can't post link as I am at work....
  14. More about having a bachelors degree and vast knowledge. Foreman would make a good S&C assistant coach. I would prefer someone else for head S&C man Looks like its Mark Philipp, saw something on twitter from cavanaugh
  15. Agreed. SE is a master of that. We are supposed to believe he is a good judge of head football coaching ability after his great pick at Miami? Yeah real stud AD. Seriously? Let me guess you also agree with the crap that Osborne was forced out? You bought into the crap that Bo was feeding everybody.... He has given up, refused to make adjustments and was butt hurt when it caught up with him
  16. I agree about liking Bo more from this, I know that's not popular...and I am glad he's gone, but still nice to see someone who doesn't just do the "company" good-bye and act like everything was fine. Why do we have to be so "PC" all the time, it's like everyone freaks out when someone speaks their mind. If he was working at McDonalds and left that job with a rant like this, we would all say "good job" but when it's a university position and comes with a million dollar salary everyone thinks he has to act a certain way...I like his passion. Big difference between passion and being a childish jerk off who had the support of one of the most loyal fan bases in the country even after he crapped on us by calling us fair weather and telling us to f ourselves.
  17. I agree, and that is why I'm surprised it came out. When the first tape was released, you can understand why. Releasing this tape and this time is confusing. It does nothing but hurt the University. This exposure certainly can't help Riley's recruiting efforts. The team doesn't need this 10 days before playing in their bowl game. Even if YSU was to back out of their HC choice, it would only hurt UNL even more financially. How does this hurt the University? I get that it is bad publicity and makes things seem like a total clusterf#@k around the program but, this is about the total and complete classlessness of one man, Bo Pelini, not the University. Anybody that puts any stock in what Bo Pelini says at this point in time is not a smart person. His comments about SE should be given the same weight as his comments about everything else and that means anything he says is basically worthless and likely wrong. Seems to me that this recording supports the justification for firing a 9-win coach. I mean, wouldn't anyone around the nation listen to his remarks to the team and say, "Yeah, I guess Pelini really was a douchebag after all. Nebraska did well to get rid of the guy." Agree this supports the idea of firing a nine win coach. But, honest question, when has Bo ever lied? Is there really a reason not give his words weight? Just because he is constantly pissed off person, does not mean his words are untrue, necessarily. It's not necessarily a question of him lying but more how he seems to be totally incapable of perceiving how things really are. His perception of everything else seems to be clouded and just plain wrong, so why should anyone believe a word he has to say about Eichorst. It's like getting stock advice from the bum who lives under the bridge. I think someone like Bo, who has no filter and just says what he thinks, is telling the truth and not making Sh$# up, however, it could be his own reality but I think there is a ton of truth to what he ranted about, especially the AD pile-on...think about it, TO was the type to come to practices, have conversations, and make personal connections, if Eichorst was never around and didn't communicate with BO, he was bound to get upset and nervous about what that meant... Dude in his rant Bo says he didn't like eichorst from the beginning. You don't think he may be blowing things up a little because he just got canned and just didn't like the dude? He literally called him a c word to a bunch of players..,,,
  18. How many employees does your boss have? Did your boss hire you? my direct boss has 32 direct subordinates and no. I transferred here from our Omaha office. Dude what is with all the negative to Eichorst? Sure maybe some of the things he has done are not the greatest but comparing him to your boss is off base. I don't know where you work but eichorst doesn't have the time to hold his coaches hand and pat him on the ass when he asks if he is doing a good job. Bo didn't accept responsibility for anything and promoted his unqualified buddies to positions they didn't deserve. In another of your posts you say something to the effect being worried about the leadership up top. I for one think it's funny that only Pelini had a problem with it, look at our other teams, all enjoying quite a bit of success and are supported by the athletic department to the fullest. The problem wasn't a lack of athletes or injuries. It was the coaching staff and it all started with Bo. I'm sorry but lack of "support" doesn't blow decent leads back to back weeks
  19. Again with "who made the recording"?? Who the hell cares? Probably Reeves, he's been getting screwed out of playing time in favor of pelini's NAIA quality nephew and has seen through his bullshart for a long time
  20. Yeah, I don't think he's coming here to take a pay cut. His salary at Oregon state was 250k, that's less than most of our position coaches.....
  21. I think there is allowed to be more than one mormon coach in NCAAF
  22. Yeah.... or you may be lacking sleep, awaiting the sock's next words. Which I assume will be the same as yesterday's, hoping not but I feel as we draw closer things will become even more hush hush
