Not really the D been playing good considering. No doubt the D is playing well, but given two turnovers, two O possessions starting inside the five that resulted in 3 & outs and 36 yard punts, and another shanked punt, I would have expected a bigger deficiet. your right just like seeing the D playing well.

Here's how a professional would have addressed this same issue and stood up for his team: "Yeah, there are a few people out there who seem to have it in for us, but the vast majority of Nebraska fans can see that we're making progress." Something like that-- "This much larger group of fans supports us" instead of "nobody likes meh." Is that clearer? LOL

I'm not going to pretend to be some Harvey Perlman advocate, but this is mypoic. The evidence is out there. You're not looking. At all. Don't be lazy. Go do some research before you criticize. Call the university for goodness' sake and ask about their future plans. Google it for goodness' sake. It's not like it's difficult to find. I can see how Harvey has made some enemies in the AAU and he has let aspects in research within the University slip. I wouldnt say he didnt have any responsibility in it by a long shot. You don't know a whole lot about the process and criteria that got NU booted from the AAU do you? If all of the money spent on research by the University of Nebraska was actually counted towards the criteria that allows an institution to be a member then NU would still be in the AAU. Instead, because the University of Nebraska is spread across at least 3 campus's in 3 different cities and much of our research dollars are in the agricultural field instead of medical or engineering we are no longer a member. That's an over simplification, but it works. Yes. you are correct.

We are living on the west coast. We don't watch the games live this year - I think this is a fundamental event. We've never waited and watched the DVR copy of the game delayed before this season. We've always been pumped to watch the Huskers play live - but this year if different. I, like most Nebraskans, have put a lot of my heart into being a Husker Fan over the years - but I don't see the spirit, the commitment, the drive in our teams (and Coaches) the last few years and I'm getting tired of putting so much of myself on the line, into winning or losing - or losing very, very bad. I will still support and be proud of the "N," but I don't hold much faith in things getting better without real some changes. How does the Penn State Coaching staff recover that team from the Hell they went through two years ago and "STILL" take it to the Huskers for all they were worth? Wyoming? Minnesota? Blowing the UCLA game? I live on the west coast also but I have yet NOT been able to see a game live on TV. I'm tickled to death that I've been able to see them.

He absolutely has. From the coaches to the towel boys. Rather than bothering to try and build good will with the fans, he's taken shots at them. It's not smart from a PR move, and definitely doesn't give yourself any leeway when a season doesn't turn out the way everyone had hoped. I am 100% convinced that his hot seat would be a lot cooler if he would think before he spoke. It amazes me how butt-hurt posters get about what some coach say's or doesn't say. see how that works! Waaaaaaa that coach said something bad about us fans waaaaaaaaaa :ahhhhhhhh
