I have been a fan of Callahan but this is not working. The Husker fans are like Yankees fans. We demand Championships not 8-4 records. Nebraska football is Big 12 titles and BCS games just like the Yankees are all about World Series or bust. Every coach needs to know Nebraska means winning titles not getting beat by 20 points every other game. Why haven't Coz gotten fired yet? Hope Callahan knows when the ship start to sink the first one to go is the head coach. I didn't want to belive it, but Nebraska football is very average at that just f'ing sucks!!

Just thinking, is it the fans who want the old tradtion Husker football back. Power running game. Run 70 times pass 10. Right now I'm hearing no coach who wants to come here and run the option here. What recruits are saying "I want to go to Nebraska and change the west coast back to the running attack style." Is it only the fans? To go back to the option you need a AD, Coach, and players who want to change. Who is out there? Isn't Army or Navy the only teams running the option? Let's say everybody gets fired this year then what. Who will coach the option and what recruits come here? Everybody wants to fire everybody but does anybody really have a real coach and players to come here.

What if Keller throws 2 tds instead of over throwing the wide receivers in the end zone. What if they score 2 more tds instead of the fields goals. What if all the wide receivers catch the ball and they lead to long drives and touchdowns. Don't just what if Wake Forrest. Everybody always does the other team and not Nebraska. Then Nebraska should have scored 28 more points. Why? What if? This sh#t can go both ways. Wake couldn't get it done on their home field. That's there fault. Nebraska had what 370 total yards to WF 377. Then if Wake was so good then so was Nebraska. Didn't Nebraska have more first downs, passing yards, more points. Wake had more rushing and around 10 more yards. That's why Nebraska won and not Wake Forrest. Nebraska did more to win the game.

If Callahan doesn't win 77-0 and out gain the other team 700 to 50, then the Huskers suck. If the Huskers win big the other team sucks. If the Huskers win by 7 or less the Huskers suck. Huskers fans cant take a low scoring hard fought game. Every Huskers game has to be 77-0. Go walk on and help the program out!! I never went to college so I have 4 years but I'll get mey ass kick, and I'm 6'3 225lbs. Alot of fans talk sh#t but never back it up. Go walk on the football program beacaue to me every one has the f'ing answer but doesn't do anything about it. If Callahan sucks go walk in the University with your ideas and apply for the Head Coaching job. And by the way, during Cally first year when he passed on 3 and 2 everybody and mean everybody would say run the ball. Make up your mind.

I just think sometimes we as fans look at total yards given up not the toal points given up.

#17 Auburn loses to South Florida. #11 Georgia loses to South Carolina.#22 Bosie St. loses to Washington. #23 Texas A&M wins by 2 over Frenso st. #10 Cal wins by 6 over Colorado st. #12 Ohio st wins by 18 over Akron. #16 Nebraska wins by 3 over Wake Forrest. Just goes to show how hard it is to win sometimes in College football.

With the defence, do we look at they only gave up 17 points today and 27 in two games or do we look at total yards. Some defences are bend but don't break meaning, from the 20 to the 20 they give up yards but when in the red zone they buckle down. The only stat I really care about is points scored and points against. USC is going to march down the field and get yards but the Huskers need to hold them to Field Goals.

Dude if your happy with how the Huskers played great!!!! A win is no longer good to you but to me, I don't care if it's 2-0 or 78-77, The Huskers won. Is that all that matters? After every lose or win the Huskers fans on this board never give the other team any credit. Maybe the fans over looked Wake Forrest. Any time a team wins on the road against a BCS team and ACC Champion is not very easy to do. Nothing is ever good for any Huskers fan. All year I read on this board is how hard the schedule is. After four years there is still people who want Bill Callahan fired. What has Bill done that is just so bad that people hate this guy? Bill has never riped the state, the fans, the players or the university. He was brought in a situation that is pretty much a no win situation. To some fans he will never be better than Osborne and he was never born in Nebraska. Those are already two strikes against him. I belive no coach wants to come here because of the high expectations. This fire Bill Callahan is going to go on until he is then fired. Congrates Bill 5 more years of some fans hateing your ass!!! I for one like Callahan. But I'm in the minority. Go luck Bill. What a big difference it makes when you have depth at the linebacker and secondary. Coz can now use 7 secondary players against the passing teams . With the starters Bowman, Murillo, Green, and Asante with Jones, Grixby, Wilson, Thenarse coming in for the nickel and dime packages. Last year all the linebackers had to stay on the field to cover the wide receivers because we had no depth. Also the Huskers can now rotate 5 linebackers and not really lose a step. With Rudd, McKeon, and Doc-Oct starting, with Dillard and Brandenburgh coming off the bench, the linebackers should stay fresher. Last year, Rudd, McKeon and Bradley had to play pretty much the whole game. With the depth the Huskers have, fans can now see how really good is Coz. Just a couple thoughts from yesterday. If Bowman and Oct can stay healthy, they will be the 2 players who are going to carry this defence.

After reading the fire Callahan dribble, It made me wonder? . Would USC won with Joe Daily at quaterback or would the Huskers won more than 5 games with Matt Leinart at quaterback. If Pete Carroll is such a f'ing genius, would he made Joe a Heisman winner and would Callahan make Matt lead all of college football in ints? Would Bill Walsh be a genius without Joe Montana? To be a successful coach in any sport you need players pure and simple. How are coaches legends one year and bums the next? Nebraska hasn't had a Championship caliber team since 1997. That's the reason the Huskers haven't won one since.The Husker teams simply were not Champioship teams. Name me one Husker team who was better than the team who won the Championship. To win a title you need Coaching, players, depth, and some luck. Name me one Husker team that had all that the last 10 years. It all goes back to the topic, Does Nebraska in 2007 have the coaching, players, depth, and luck of a Championship team?

Ever since then, no one is afraid of the Huskers. Maybe people should go back and watch all the loses from 2002 on and see that nobody is afraid to play the Huskers. The tape doesn't lie.
