Not calling anyone out, but I've never understood the attraction of giving a player or coach a nickname. Example: Taylor Martinez = TMart. Kenyon Martin = KMart. LeBron James = King James. It sounds too much like a "hanger on mentality" where someone wants to attach themselves to a players reputation. (Rep ....another slang word I despise.) A little too much man love for me....sorry. It was Barry Collier's 1 year I think. It was a really REALLY bad team. He talked about on radio show once how one time they went into the lockeroom after a 25 point loss and all the players could do was argue about stat lines. He knew then how bad that team really was. So yes, he played basketball for a year, and I think a year later WR Wilson Thomas also played. Wilson Thomas, ahhh the golden years of husker hoops!

It's the "without a doubt" part that I disagree with, but I see what you're saying. My point is that I can't ever remember a true frosh starting at safety for NU (and we've had some pretty spectacular talent at that position), so why would you be so confident that some recruit will play right away? I don't think he's got significantly more potential than Cooper did. Regardless, I still hope we bring in good talent every year, and hopefully Su'a can be part of that. Let him play special teams or corner or hybrid position as a true frosh then move him

Valentinos? No, I know Valentinos, good pizza! good soft serve ice cream! I take it we have a slim chance at this guy considering how easy it was to get off topic! Valentinos isn't good pizza! And don't forget, even Nebraska has taco bell! Only edible while intoxicated! I'm not a huge fan of Valentino's pizza when you are at the restaurant or order from a restaurant.
