I'm going... Great kids in this class!! Gone through a lot and we never hear anything negative come out of their mouths about the program or their coach. Never in trouble with the law and having met a few of them, seem like good people too! Sometimes things don't work out like we want in life!!! GBR

More importantly to me than husker ties or former husker DBs is the new coaches ability to recruit!!!! Gotta sell themselves to high schoolers and their parents/high school coaches. Now I get that former husker NFL players have things to sell to the high school dreamers but gimme someone with coaching experience and ties to high schools in talent rich areas.

If anyone needs to take the lead by making a classy move it should be Raymond! He should thoroughly encourage Dixon to make an official visit. Raymond should tell the kid that NU is still everything he told him it was while recruiting him as part of NUs staff. It would be totally transparent and Hypocritical for him to say anything negative about us even though we will be competing for dixons services. If it come out from Dixon that Raymond said he couldn't go wrong by choosing NU and says nice things about what we could do for him then I would totally be fine with losing him to Raymond and LSU. If he bashes us then I hope Dixon can see through that and make an informed decision.

Yeah... Accruing so many things that depreciated in value will get ya everytime. Things like cars, RVs, motorcycles, boats, wives, you know things that lose their value!

Marshall should be TOs first call. He is proven and plays a really fun style. Stevens would be awesome. I still think he ends up some where bigger. Pastner is going to be a Big East coach at a great program. No chance there. Brad Stevens comes off to me as someone that would like to go to a bigger conference but would be willing to coach somewhere he could become the standard. Enter Nebraska! I think this would be a huge get! He knows the recruiting landscape and we could sell him on the new facilities!

I was born in Wisconsin, so I can say this... My only bash against Wisconsin are their really large people. No , not like walkon Offensive lineman material, but too much cheese, brats and beer large. Everytime I go back to visit it is very apparent. Oh yeah, there is also the issue of the trophy cases of Wisconsin missing a certain trophy as well. No...we will not share... Maybe you shouldn't bash family members on some random sports board! Maybe your family will stop inviting you back after these comments!

Those are nice numbers and all but my point was more cumulative in nature. I just added up the total for 12-8! I know he was good the first two years but we aren't trending very well lately. 4-6 in the last 2 years!

We have been terrible at closing out seasons with Bo. Imagine if we got off to a rough start and then can't close.

Gumbercules says we are losing alot of "talent" from this team! You must be on our coaching staff! This team is no better than an 8th place team in the MVC! I like our incoming class. I can see us getting to 20 wins next year. First off, you all need to be made aware of my thoughts on 20 wins before you indict me for such a prediction. 20 wins ain't what it used to be! Nowadays you can get 12-14 wins by playing a weak ass non-con schedule.(see Alecs marics senior year) Playing a 33-35 game schedule these days, my standard for a quality team is 8-10 losses.

I'm just wondering what we'd say if after a little research by the kid, he asks us about Marvin.

Pretty sure I said a 8-5 or 7-6 season was where I thought we'd be next year. So I guess I'm not the only one thinking we're gonna struggle.
