Surrounding countries should indeed be paying more. Just like they should’ve been fully funding NATO before this and became weak, degraded militaries (not all of them I know). Instead they let the USA do their funding into NATO. Ukraine has a 0.00% chance of reclaiming their former territory. They’ve lost too many men, supplies, & equipment will not and cannot come in enough quantity to match their goals. Their counter offensive failed. The only hope they have of winning is to outlast the Russians with a much higher kill ratio and bleed them. They are still going to lose more land. This will come to the negotiating table and Russia will take (well continue to take) Crimea, Donetsk, & other potential regions.

Obviously by my statements I think this is a larger threat to us than Russia. again, given their location to Russia those countries should be paying a lot more.

1 Blackhawk is useless. Just as 32 tanks from the USA are useless even with them being higher quality than T-62 & T-72s. For Ukraine to win they will need thousands upon thousands of tanks, artillery, planes, etc. probably in the trillions monetary wise. This is why they will never win. It’s just enough to bleed the Russians.

By playing world keeper all we have done is plunge ourselves into unpayable debt & neglected key issues at home. It is cool in the USA to play war as long as it’s your party. Shareholders, CEOs, donors, & others who play puppeteer don’t care if you have an R or D in front of your name on the screen.

Chechnya was/is also an autonomous Russian republic not a separate nation. You are obviously going to have to boost wartime production after war for deterrence. I have my doubts here.

Ukraine surrenders all of or large swaths of the Donetsk, Luhansk, & Crimea oblasts/territories. They are going to want these ethnically Russian territories.

It’s been too long we have been the world keepers. These countries have profited on the backs of our tax dollars. It’s time for them to do their part.

I’m squarely in the camp of Ukraine needs to come to reality and come to the table because they have 0 hope of reclaiming s#!t. All this is doing is killing more men, women, & children. Would I love Ukraine to win? Yes. f#&% Russia, f#&% putin, f#&% Wagner, f#&% the war dogs. But Ukraine is not going to be able to do this. If you think the USA is doing this to be just you’re hilarious. They are doing this to degrade Russian war capacity for starters. Also, politicians and big heads of wartime profiteers are beating the drum bathing in the profit of murderous wartime production

And even with artillery Ukraine will at best keep them at bay. They are not going to ever be able to conquer anything meaningful. Although it will help them defend. This war is just the bloodletting of the Russian and Ukrainian states all for a bloody stalemate for Ukraine. also an FYI: In November of 2023 Ukraine was using around 7,000 shells per day. And they would love to shoot a lot more. Granted not all of those are 155mm. But a lot are. It is still not enough. Russia is far outpacing this figure of manufacturing.

Because the west is bitterly unprepared for a modern war with mixed modern targeting systems and ammo & old style “dumb” ammunition. We don’t have enough shells to give. Russia is all in on artillery while the United States puts vast resources into smart weapons and planes/bombs. We are learning you still need to make dummy ammunition to win modern wars against standing armies. And capacity to make such things is way down. and even then..the counteroffensive was a massive flop. Ukraine needs hundreds more tanks alone, thousands more of vehicles, planes, & artillery to make ANY kind of serious dent into Russian held territory. They aren’t gonna get s#!t. The United States is content on trading Ukrainian lives for Russian equipment and manpower. They know ukraine can’t win.

Their “special military operation” sure moved goalposts didn’t it. From their objective of conquering Kyiv and overthrowing their government & installation of a modern Russian puppet state to pure settlement.

Russia is making territorial gains. Avdiivka most recently. I will tell you how the Ukraine/Russian war will end. Russia takes Crimea & the Luhansk, Donetsk, regions from Ukraine or at least large swaths they have now conquered. Ends in a stalemate with Ukraine in massive debt and losing land. Russia parades this as a victory for their “special military operation” and they move the pillars so far as to claim they achieved the objectives.

Poland doesn’t have enough man power or equipment to invade Russia. Not even close. Even with Ukraine in the fold. Their best hope would be to draft conscripts and help wear down the Russian war capacity or pray putin is ousted. This is disregarding Russian nukes as well.
