  1. What we learned is what we already knew......our QB is unable to make the precision passes to our skill players needed to beat an athletically superior team. Our defense can't consistently pressure the QB of a team with a superior line and quality QB without leaving the field open.
  2. You are f'n crazy!!!! we have been totally outclassed in players and coaches. We did tonight but I'm not crazy. Just not as overreactive as some and still have hope for the season despite one really bad performance. What can I say, I'm a fan of the huskers It is not just one bad performance! These kind of games show where you are at and it is disgusting so many years so so many....... Yes, they do. Where we're at is where we were at before this game. In the completely inequitable NCAA there are a few elite teams with pro salary coaches, a bunch of hopefuls, and a bunch of Washington General patsies. If they were really worried about parity, they'd have a coach's salary cap and a three round draft of any player who can't qualify for the academic elite schools. Don't hold your breath on that. We went from a league with one mega-donor team Texas to a league with four or five. If we win out or lose three in the regular season with what we have, it's no shame.
  3. It sounds like Tommy will be okay and I'm thankful for that... Hopefully no long term consequences to that scary looking injury.
  4. The best way to take this is that even if it's 100-0 it only counts as one game. I could go off about our lack of a backup plan and high school strategies, but at this point we just need to regroup and stay the course.
  5. I'm just glad the honorable Commissioner Gordon wasn't on that list.......somebody would've had to fight me, Batman, and Robin (the boy wonder).
  6. You never know until they play the game.....unless you're talking about the Democrat primary......if we knew they could just tell us the winner and save on all the equipment and practice.
  7. I call bullsh#t on this thread. We did what we always do and it was a group effort. You can't just call "the plays that work"....you have to call a variety of things to keep them honest. And what works one time gets stopped for a loss the next. Then there's the most important factor of calling decent plays but the Jimmys and Joes all going the wrong direction, Jimmy QB throwing it in the ground or into the stands, Joe RB running into the back of his blocker, Wisconsin Jimmy RB moving sideways through our D Joes like a Harrier. I was hoping for one more completed pass and a long FG before regulation ended, but it didn't happen. That's how it goes when two teams want to win.
  8. FIRE EVERYBODY!!! Oh ,I mean...FIRE UP ,EVERYBODY!!! We did what we do. We were a pass and a kick away from winning a couple times and ,give Wisconsin credit, they knew that and did everything they could to stop it. They way it started ,I thought the game might get away from us, but they hung in there until the end.
  9. We played good, just couldn't finish it. Their RB has lateral moves that are hard to stop.
  10. PI? Where was that, they had us covered like a glove and the first time Tommy threw it to no one. Face it , we lost.
  11. Yeah, that was some seriously questionable playcalling and execution, but it was a good game. Congratulations to Wisconsin.
  12. Man, I wanted him to finish the game with a 60 yard field goal.
  13. That was a damn good draw. That was a damn good interception.
  14. We're the suckiest team that ever sucked!! Wait...big play!!! GO BIG REEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!
  15. THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!! It's a tight one and kinda encouraging considering how much we screwed up and how completely terrible Tommy has thrown the ball.
  16. That was a good punt. Too bad our game plan is Tommy making decisions.
  17. We can't win without hitting simple throws to wide open receivers.
  18. Looked to me like he batted down an interception.
  19. The announcers are saying that this might be a tough game.
