  1. https://www.1011now.com/content/news/University-officials-knew-of-allegations-against-Husker-running-back-last-fall--505801811.html An attorney for The University of Nebraska Athletic Department was informed of the nature of the case against Maurice Washington in mid-September of 2018, according to law enforcement documents obtained by 1011 NOW. Those documents also show that Washington did not respond to repeated requests for an interview by law enforcement, made to Washington directly and to an attorney hired by the University.
  2. Well the Democrats in the House are trying to help you out a bit here...
  3. Not yet anyway. It would be difficult to do considering I don't recall watching a down of USC football during his time there But the eyeTrollers are sure not happy with my questioning.
  4. Yeah I know. It's my fault for not writing it right. He wasn't the DC and yet the quote makes it sound like he was responsible for the slip in overall defensive production.
  5. I should have worded that differently. I found the statement in the quote you posted weird that they made the DL solely responsible for ALL of the rushing yards USC surrendered per game last year
  6. If the front 4 for USC gave up 164 rushing yards a game, how many yards did the defense give up as a whole?
  7. Oh I know what they are thinking. I just don't get their logic. Letting the government use your money interest free is not something i would subscribe to
  8. His decision was political. His customers decisions were supply and demand.
  9. I mean I can see how it will work in some cases. Like the wedding cake people. They got a flurry of business for their stance against gay weddings. But that is a service oriented business. But with a company that sells "stuff", if you decide to eliminate the most popular selling items, in this case NFL jerseys, and you have nothing equally as good to replace it with, you're screwed because there is nothing for purchase.
  10. I never understood people being excited about tax returns. If you got a $4,000 return at the end of the year, it means that you were over taxed that whole time and didn't get to use that money they way you wanted all year. I would rather have had the $4k to invest each month or something.
  11. If it's not true, he did himself one hell of a disservice for his career.
  12. I wouldn't have a problem with using El Chapo's money for funding aspects of border security. But, yes, a wall is still a complete waste of funds no matter where it comes from
  13. No I get it. Probably came off that way. I just meant there might be some legal insight that could be shared that people might not understand or whatever.
  14. I think I spelled out to Saunders a few posts back how I felt about consequences. And I'd like to say some things about you comparing me to Trump but I need to decide if it's worth getting banned over.
  15. Couldn't be bothered to take a vote in the Senate on measures to end the shutdown because it would be a "show vote" but........
  16. Good point. Probably been doing that since page 1
  17. Damn. 4 eyeTrolls. I guess people don't want any lawyers helping us out here. Carry on
  18. Sorry about that. Yes, I meant to. People of high character are not immune to doing low character things. They are also not immune from facing consequences for those things either.
  19. I fully admit I am coming from 100% opinion. I'd actually like to not debate the legal side of it because it's very nuanced. Like, if there are no charges, is he innocent of doing what he did or just not enough to convict? Stuff like that.
  20. Serious question. Are you a California prosecutor or defense attorney? Or an attorney at all anywhere? You seem very sure of yourself and I was just wondering if you are coming from a place of expertise. Because it would be very helpful to a lot of us if actual lawyers were identified and in this debate. Forgive me if somewhere in the last 13 pages you said you were and I missed it.
  21. Based on California's law of the definition of statutory rape, 'm not going to try to figure if they take the Webster's Dictionary version of "distribution" literally
