  1. He visited Michigan State last weekend for the Boise State game, says they are really picking up interest in him the last couple months. Considering unofficial to Toledo on October 22nd. Has already been to Toledo so, going for seconds. Same with Purdue on Oct. 6th. Really liked the campus and the coaches each spent a lot of one on one time with him. Wants to see more. His OV to Nebraska will be his first look at Lincoln against Wisconsin. Also, wants to go to Washington State for an OV and see Coach Leach's program. Sounds like Purdue and Toledo are out front right now. Can't be sure though. Other interest is coming from Baylor, Mizwho, Wisky, and UNLV.
  2. Yeah, I saw this too. But what exactly does it mean to "pass the ACT"? I would really like to see what his actual score was. It probably means that he got a high enough score to get into the schools that he's interested in.
  3. Nothing on Landthieves.com discussing how his visit went FWIW... from what ive heard it went pretty well........ Sandland said that his visit at Oklahoma was pretty good. But as i recall his visit here he stated, 10/10. Also, he was really impressed by last week's changes.
  4. he has stated that he will OV Washington, ASU, Utah, and Texas and most likely Alabama. He states that the only reason he is not OVing with Nebraska is because he was here for BRW. When asked whether he was going to this week's game, he replied, "Heck yeah I'm going to that game!" Looking for a strong relationship with all the coaches that he will deal with at the school that he commits to. Got his GPA up to 2.6 and passed the ACT. So, he's really cleaned up his act and looks pretty interested in Nebraska.
  5. He's slotted in for an official. I don't remember where i saw it, but i guess so.
  6. Nick Fuller (NU Commit) and Zach Hanson (Creighton Commit) will be here for the Wisconsin game on 9/29.
  7. To recap, Christian Morris, Courtney Love, David Knevel, Zach Hannon, and Jamone Boyd will all be here for the Wisconsin game on 9/29. A.J Natter for the Michigan game. As for Basketball players visiting. Zach Hanson (Creighton Commit) and Nick Fuller (NU Commit) will be here for the Wisconsin game as well.
  8. He's apparently as tight-nit with Johnny Stanton as can be, texts him constantly. Even has the Elite 11 recorded on his dvr but it pains him that he doesn't have the time to watch it. I think he really wants to play with Johnny, so I think that he's most definitely ours.
  9. Said Oklahoma visit was a "good visit." Really wants to get his mom out to Nebraska. Also, curious if we were forcing the passing game because of rex's injury, but really impressed with Martinez. Good stuff to say all around. chuckleshuffle :ahhhhhhhh
  10. Also, David Knevel is visiting for Wisconsin. This weekend keeps on growin.
  11. He is actually still interested in Nebraska, but has rarely talked to Joseph since decommiting. Aggies and Arizona State are probably the front runners unless LSU offers last second, as FLU said.
  12. That was even before the game, so imagine what he thinks of us now.
  13. He really wants to come to Nebraska for Wisconsin, but it's not going over well with Vandy staff, maybe still a chance in the respect.
  14. Lacy will be at UCLA on Sept. 7, Arkansas on Sept. 22, Nebraska on Sept. 28, Cal on Oct. 6 and Oklahoma on Nov. 24. so you know the contenders, also florida is in the running (sorta)
  15. I am thinking this ship has sailed. I feel we still have a chance if he gives us an official visit. He hasn't even seen the campus.
  16. greatest thing to come out of the Callahan era..
  17. If you click on 3rd and 4th quarter, you can click on So. Miss drives and calculate. I know it was 108 overall in the second half. And mostly all of that was on the ground. http://espn.go.com/n...ameId=322450158 Sorry, couldn't find anything better..
  18. LOL...what games involving B1G teams leads you to this half-baked assertion? 1. Wisconsin's narrow escape from Northern Iowa? 2. Iowa's one point win over Northern Illinois? 3. Michigan getting hammered by Alabama? 4. Or maybe it was Michigan State's almost losing to Boise State (at home) that has you tossing and turning? I know that as a Nebraska fan joining in the "we suck" chorus is the new black but get real. Southern Miss ran for nearly 200 yards against Nebraska. Are you assuming the offensive lines, running backs, and quarterbacks in the Big 10 - specifically on Wisconsin, Ohio St, Michigan, and Michigan St - are worse than what Southern Miss has? Bell, Ball, Robinson, and Miller come to mind. Not to mention that Wisconsin has a proven track record of developing quality college o-linemen. It was just something I noticed. Nebraska's d-line did not play good. They looked slow and and were getting pushed around.......by Southern Miss. I'm not sure if it's talent or scheme - I tend to lean towards a mixture of the two - but hopefully something changes and d-line play improves or our defense will struggle the rest of the year. I already said this on another thread, but i'll go again. The spread offense, (So. Miss) is the hardest and most difficult defense to defend in all of football. Hence, why the NFL is accepting it more and more into the game. The only team that I saw this weekend stuff the dual threat quarterbacks/read options was Alabama. And, we know how much of a higher level they're on then everyone else in the country. Wisconsin and Michigan St. are perfect offenses for us to defend. Wisconsin, on Saturday played smashmouth for the entire game, and were averaging maybe 3 yards at most a carry vs Northern Iowa. Danny O'Brien was nothing to drool over. He was a pocket quarterback, which is what our defense thrives on. Examples, Jake Locker (Minus Holiday Bowl, didn't happen), Curt Cousins, James Vandenberg, Blaine Gabbert. All quality quarterbacks who had no luck of anything against us. That's why I believe Michigan State and Wisconsin are gimmes. Michigan and Ohio State are reasonable things to be scared about. But, Wisconsin and Michigan State looked like complete dog drool this weekend, and both were at home, So imagine wisky on the road. I think our defense was fine once they knew more about Southern Miss' offense. Which was the second half. They were driving down the field time and time again in the first, but the second half, 100 yards and 3 points, and almost all punts, sit down my friend and wait for UCLA. if we are still struggling after UCLA then there is obviously more room for discussion. But, we also had 11 TFL and 3 sacks, which isn't a bad game at all, against a team's offense that you don't know. There is alot wrong with what you are saying. First, the Big 12 had better spread offenses than any conference in the country in 2009 and 2010. Last time I checked, our defense was pretty solid against most of those offenses in both years. Granted, in 2009 we had Suh, but the defense was still pretty damn good in 2010 without him. Michigan St and Wisconsin are "gimmes"? Really? Based off of what? Sorry, but I don't think anyone will take you seriously after making a statement like that. Yes, it was week 1, but, Wisconsin escaped at home against a Northern Iowa team, that was decently good, but they still should have put them away way early on. Michigan State relied on Bell more than i've ever seen a team do so. 50 touches for a back is superhuman. I may have not worded that in the best manner. But, Wisconsin and Michigan State looked absolutely terrible and yet Tom Dienhart calls them both better than us in his rankings.
  19. To add onto what you're saying, I wouldn't put a lot of stock into the second half of our game. Ellis Johnson came out and said So. Miss essentially gave up in the second half. So. Miss fans are livid on their message boards right now about how Johnson basically gave up. I understand that, and might not have worded my long post very well, but they were essentially running the same plays in the first half (while running) that they were in the second half. I don't believe that the players ever quit though, and that's where it matters.
  20. He's still learning everything, he's apparently not fully caught up in the defense.

  22. HE'S SOOOOOO !!!!! :moreinteresting :moreinteresting :moreinteresting
  23. I agree. Our OL NEEDS to beat UCLA up and take their will. Hope they are up for this game. I think we definitely get Quessenberry if we play against UCLA like we did on Saturday and play impressively on his OV. Especially, since he's down to cal and nebraska, and cal's not looking to hot.
  24. I'm hearing Bobby Leath will be here for Michigan. Can anyone verify?
