  1. I don't think anyone would disagree that adding to the 10 should be extremely selective. This is not selective. Only high profile additions should be considered.
  2. I love Bo's fire, and I think the players feed off it. In my opinion, the games where the team plays well are usually the games were Bo is fired up.
  3. You mean William Gholston? The preseason All-American? That one? The premier pass rusher in the country when he isn't punch people or being undisciplined? That one? Nice.
  4. I have Dish and the game is scheduled to be shown in my area on channel 144, ESPN2. However, my preassigned recording of the game is stating that the event has been blacked out. Does anyone else have this problem, and/or knows a solution? Note, it does state that they will be showing it on channel 146, ESP2A, but not in high definition.
  5. The point is that maybe the next guy isn't as good as the first choice.
  6. I want to modify the catch phrase that "the second string quarterback is the most popular guy on campus," to something akin to "the unknown unhired coach is the most popular guy on campus," but I am having difficulty making it catchy (huge problem considering it's a catch phrase). Any suggestions?
  7. Fire Perlman. I have nothing against the new guy. But you don't treat Osborne, Pelini and Solich that way. Yes, it's not their decision, but considering Bo has to work with him and what Osborne has done for Nebraska, he could have done it more respectfully. There is a right way to do it, and it was not done the right way (if the facts in the article are right).
  8. Wow, if you watch the video, it's sounds bad. Best wishes to Bo and his family. If there is any question about his health, he should take off as much time as he likes. I don't care what it does to our record, something's are more important then Husker football -- and trust me, I don't say that lightly.
  9. I think the big issue is that the scheme may be too complicated. Not saying i would change it, but there needs to be a better job teaching it. His best athletes are not on the field. Why, because they don't know the defense well enough. If you look at the tape of the last game, a lot of guys where just getting in the proper alignment when the ball was snapped. At that time, they didn't have enough time to comprehend and react. Your a lot quicker when your ready to go.
  10. http://www.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390444554704577641560018348098.html?mod=WSJ_hpp_LEFTTopStories Pretty hard core slam.
  11. I think Bo gives his coaches too much freedom. Even though he is an excellent defensive mind, every coaching change he has made is reflected in the play of the players who have a new position coach. This leads to inconsistency and lack of cohesion on the defense. I understand his desire to want his coaches to grow (by giving them freedom to chose how to coach their players), but he (in my humble opinion) should have his coaches earn this after they have proven that they master his schemes and/or techniques.
  12. The linebackers were the problem. End of story.
