  1. That would be interesting. When he graduated, he ended his career fairly frustrated with how it went. I know he has welcomed Nebraska coaches into his school that he coaches at. Don’t remember if they were Frost’s staff or not.
  2. I’m assuming that’s Bobby’s son.
  3. I’m old enough to remember when Republicans respected military leadership.
  4. Of coarse there’s some that are doing that. But, that is the minority of businesses in America.
  5. Really??? Nobody has said the market is disconnected from what’s happening?
  6. And sometimes people always jump to the negative. And, the whole market is disconnected from what’s happening is just based on ignorance with a motivation of an agenda.
  7. Good Lord. There can be a business that does well without exploiting people. Research the home improvement industry right now. It’s going crazy. There are a lot of people out of work which is bad. There are also a lot of people still employed, can’t go on a vacation or out to eat. So...hey, let’s fix up the house this year. Check out what Home Depot has done the last 2 months. Nobody is exploiting anyone there. But, I guess the system allows investing in HD and that’s bad.
  8. Where did I personally attack you? nice that you can’t explain your own post.
  9. What the hell does that have to do with my posts? keep the personal attacks out of it. You are the one defending an idiotic attitude towards an inanimate market. You can’t even explain AOCs stance.
  10. There are some businesses that are doing very well right now. So, is that a symptom of a broken system?
  11. The system is not broken based on that and it shows tremendous ignorance to say that. The system has no feelings or emotions. It’s simply a market of buyers and sellers. Again, to get to AOCs real issues, it’s in individuals. They are the ones investing. AOC would totally agree with Krystals commentary.
  12. Thanks.... I don't mean to brag, but she's one of 46 Chancellor Scholars out of a record number of undergrads. Now, she stays at UNL for grad school where she was accepted as one of only 3 grad assistants in her college. But...I wouldn't want to brag or anything.
  13. OK...but, please explain what she thinks needs to be done when unemployment goes up pertaining to investing.
  14. Looks like she decided on Yia Yia's. Too bad the O street location is closed.
  15. OK..I thought you were posting it because you thought they were saying the same thing. The issue is though, the system is individual investors. So....I'll leave it at Krystal Ball thinks people investing right now in the market are inconsiderate and horrible. As for AOC, then I'm not sure what she's saying. If she says the system is bad because people can invest even though unemployment went up, does she think we should have a trigger in the system so that if unemployment goes up, the stock market is closed so nobody can invest? If she thinks the market went up because people were investing because they were happy people lost their jobs, then she's loony tune crazy.
  16. OK, my daughter is graduating from UNL tomorrow. So, we are going down, spending the day at her place, watch the ceremony on line and go to campus for some pictures. We want to have a nice meal we can pick up for take out. Any ideas? Preferably in north Lincoln. We know some good restaurants in Lincoln, but not sure which ones are doing take out. Trying to make the day as special as we can at least. Thanks,
  17. Just fine? It's possible that the strain of the virus in NY and NJ is more deadly or more contagious than the strain in the rest of the country. That has been thrown out there as a possible reason for what you say here. Now....should we just have allowed all those people from NY and NJ to travel all over the country at free will contaminating the rest of the country with that strain before they could get it under control? And...if this is the case, how would the experts know that 6 weeks ago? Knowing what you know now about how NY and NJ have ended up, what would have you done differently if you were mayor or governor of those areas?
  18. Wait...wasn't he the one that said he didn't need to wear a mask when visiting the hospital because he and everyone around him had been tested and nobody had the virus?
