Unbelievable.

This reminds me of the old story of the elderly lady who lived alone. One day it started raining. The river started rising and overflowing the banks. Soon, it was to her door. First responders come with a small boat. She says, "No God will save me". The waters keep rising. The next day they come with a bigger boat. Again, she says, "No, God will save me". By the next day, the water is so high she is sitting on her roof. A helicopter comes by and again, "No, God will save me". Well, the water kept rising...finally swept her away and she drowned. When she was at the pearly gates and finally met God, she asks....why didn't you save me? He said, I tried....I sent you two boats and a helicopter. I know it's an old joke, but these people are being idiots. God created the earth and he gave the experts the ability to learn how to deal with these situations and give advice on how to deal with them. If you ignore them, you're ignoring what God provided to you to help you. Idiots.

Think about what our grandparents went through. They went from WW I...to the Spanish flu that killed 50 million world wide and 670,000 in the US ...then the great depression...then WW II. All within about 30 years.

I respect people who can admit publicly they made a mistake especially when that mistake was thinking they were doing the right thing.

I listened to some of this today. And, there are times I think he does a great job and others not so much....and that can be in the same moment. I appreciate his preaching about social distancing. But.....at the same time, he could put in a Stay at Home order like 45 other states and it would help him accomplish that. He kept saying, businesses can stay open and it's just about staying less than 10 people. He's really trying and has good intentions. But...he's still not getting it.

Totally agree. Now....what I was being amazed at is how Zion was doing in his first year in the league. It's really going to be interesting to see how his career develops. You have a kid who is one year removed from playing HS basketball and at times it looked like 10 year veterans in the league had no clue how to stop him. All three players are very different....but all three are amazing to watch.

It would be horrible for the athletes and devastating for people whose livelihoods depend on those sporting activities. It's a huge industry and a big chunk of our economy. But, I will say this knowing I'll probably get a ton of blow back. It would probably do one hell of a lot of people some good to do without sports for a year. I would hate it and I probably fall into this group to. But, it would give us all some time to realize there's more important things in life than hanging our emotions on if a certain sports team wins a game.

To me, it was so amazing to watch him play because it was clear that the entire game through his eyes was different than anyone else. He knew every player's weakness and could exploit it. And, he could sense when the opponent was vulnerable and put the dagger in them in a totally different way than anyone else. That is an extremely rare talent which is why I find your comment interesting.

That's the only way you're going to get people to listen to this. For some reason, getting people sick and killing them doesn't get through their thick skull. But, missing football would.

Some are, some aren't. We are taking it extremely serious at our facility and I know other businesses in the area that are. However, I know a few other employers in the county don't care and think it's a joke. I know most small businesses are taking it seriously. However, I was in a retail establishment the other day to pick up something I needed. I overheard one of the managers saying, "ahh...I don't listen to all that stuff". So, I think most in my area are taking it seriously, but there are some idiots still.

The ONLY reason this idiot would do this is because his donations have dropped off and he needs to hold this so people will give him money. He's a disgusting piece of crap. And..you're right. Stuff like this is exactly why people are turned off by religion.

Look at his size. I used to run quite a bit, but being 6'2" and 220 lbs must have put some stress on my knees. I know some ironman tri-athletes and ultra-marathoners that are older than me and just keep chugging along. They are all the size of Fouci.

I'm confused by this tweet. The top says, that it's been fixed and they don't need to file. But, the bottom says they do. I can't read the article, but the headline to the article claims it's been reversed and fixed.

I came here to post that. What a great interview and so much there that all of us can think about on how we can get better at whatever we do. Well deserved honor.
