  1. I got a chuckle out of this. Former Mexican president to Donald Trump: "I'm not going to pay for that ****ing wall"
  2. So, does saying someone "will be soundly defeated" falls under that? Like I have said, I have no problem with someone saying Trump says things that are "scornfully, rudely or disrespectfully about someone." Good Lord....that's obvious. My problem is with the list. And...yes...there are things on the original list that I guess I would classify as an insult. But, there are a lot that aren't.
  3. I follow Vox and twitter. It's hard not to notice them because they literally tweet a gazzilian articles a day. It has amazed me how overtly liberal they have become. When I started reading them, I honestly thought they were situated pretty much in the center....well....not anymore.
  4. I did a google search and found where Clinton is calling Trump a racist. Is that an insult?
  5. Honestly....about the only national news network I watch is CNN and that's only shows like their morning show as I'm getting ready for work. I have watched some Ajazera America and it's not as bad as some would make it out to be.
  6. OK...maybe we are defining "insult" differently. I am defining it as something personal that is rude and hurtful to say. So..... Maybe I am totally missing what an "insult" that I'm supposed to be outraged about is.
  7. I've never said he doesn't insult people. I'm laughing at the list though. Someone put one hell of a lot of work into making a list full of stuff that doesn't fit on the list. So, any negative list that comes out about Trump I'm supposed to do this? Similar to every time someone reminds me we lost to Purdue last year? Or, should I look at stuff like this with a critical eye no matter who it is about?
  8. Simple question. Is this an insult? "Hillary clinton is very weak on illegal immigration." Also, when Democrats said "Bush lied to the American people about Iraq." Was that an insult?
  9. I dispute that "almost all candidates say very similar things." Please post examples of these kinds of statements from the other candidates. If you're ONLY referring to the nine examples... that's less than 5% of the list, and not a point in favor of Mr. Trump. Once again with the "liberal media." Who/what are the "liberal media," so we can discuss whether they've made a big deal out of the crap Trump has said. Also, explain why Trump, a presidential candidate, should be allowed to say "crap" and not have a big deal made of it. MSNBC is not a liberal media outlet? Are you saying they have never made a big deal out of crap Trump says? Why are any of them allowed to say crap?
  10. For instance. All of the ones under Ben Carson. Very weak on illegal immigration - That's an insult??? Has never created a job in his life (well maybe a nurse). - How is that so insulting? Pyramids built for grain storage - don't people get it? - The rest of the tweet was stupid, but this phrase is insulting? Many lies by Ben Carson - So....he is the first candidate to say another candidate lied about something? Very weak on illegal immigration - I thought this was already covered above. Incapable of understanding foreign policy - OK, maybe an insult but not really something I would crucify him about. Pretty weak insult. VERY weak on immigration - OK...this is the third time on the list.....it must be a real whopper of an insult.
  11. Say Obama said any one of these things. It would be the lead story of every Conservative outlet, coverage filled with rage and anger. But Trump says them and it's OK? That's the dichotomy. I didn't say I view it any different if Trump says it or Obama. I said almost all candidates say very similar things. Now, there are some things in the list that are above and beyond the normal accepted campaign crap. But, there are a lot in the list that isn't out of the ordinary. And....are you saying that liberal media hasn't made a big deal out of the crap he has said?
  12. OK....once again I'm choking with the feeling I'm actually going to look like I"m defending this idiot. However, some of these are a joke to be on this list. Most of them would come out of almost any politician in a campaign. Highly over rated lightweight has no chance Can't win Weak Our country needs more energy and spirit than you can provide. too soft Low energy Spent a ton of money on a Superbowl ad Really????? I think I could make a similar list for just about anyone on the campaign trail this year. The guy is offensive and says some stupid things. But, this list is a very poor attempt at pointing that out.
  13. Agree. Stai said that he played around 290 and is now around 220. That is something that is SO important for these guys when they stop playing.
  14. So, are you saying he graduated last December or this coming December?
  15. I noticed that the Vegas win total went from 9.5 to 10.5 right after this hire... I like this hire. But, I don't see how this could be a major factor next year in winning more games. If this bump is caused by anything happening in Lincoln, I would think it's that they believe our D line is going to be better with the new coach.
  16. I continue to believe this is a situation where the Republicans might want to be careful what they wish for. I'm not convinced they are going to keep the Senate after the election. AND, if they lose the general election for the Presidency, this would be a disaster for what they want done as a nomination. Their best chance for a moderate on the bench is if Obama nominates and they confirm before the election.
  17. They weren't an Option team. Do your research. They were a Power Run team with Option elements. Also, Warren Sapp couldn't shut down the 1994 team, and 1995 was better. I'd put 1995 Nebraska up against 2001 Miami and give you ten points. No joke. Your quarterback would be dead before the first quarter ended. I'd be with you in offering that bet.
  18. 40% of the latino vote....hmmmmm...... I'm assuming this was 40% of the latinos that are registered Republicans that went and caucused.
  19. Lord help me if this appears I'm defending Trump. But, I'm wondering what evidence this person has that this was the "trump campaign" instead of someone on the fringe who supports him that had some extra time. It's not like this would have taken a bunch of money to do.
  20. That's actually one reason why I like a running offense. You see everything on the TV screen.
  21. OK...I've seen tweets all morning about Ganz going back into coaching but not one has said where and what position. I've even googled and can't find anything. Does anyone know where he is going?
