It is nice that Purdue isn't gaining yards by running up the middle, although they haven't tried much. Yeah, that's why I'm hesitant to really heap praise about that. Definitely got to give the defense credit, they look great, but I would be way more impressed if we do this to a better team. Hopefully we shut out NW in a few weeks If we do that I am freaking ecstatic and probably running down the streets of St. Louis shirtless.

About what I expected out of this game, defense looks great, but, you know, it's Purdue.

Doesn't really mean anything, but Herbstreit tweeted that our win was #9 on the 10 most impressive wins of the week.

I honestly think our run game might be the best in the Big Ten. Not worried about their D. Its stopping their O that makes me uneasy. If the Huskers can pull that off...I will be very, very pleased.

They aren't, but the passing by OSU looks very weak, so I bet it's easier for the Cats to defend.

Either Ohio State's defense is softer than we thought, or Northwestern's offense is very, very good.
