Not saying that Taylor is perfect but if he threw three picks today he wouldn't be getting a pass. It would be the whole if it wasn't for his three picks we would have won easy. He sucks! But now it's the team plays harder for Armstrong even tho he played poorly. It's pretty funny.

I watched the whole game but to suggest the the team played better because of Armstrong is funny. Our offense struggled because Armstrong is average passer an best at this stage. He did some very good things today but I'm not giving him a pass on the three picks. All TERRIBLE throws. Maybe those were Taylor's fault???? The defense played better today after ther settled down because they started doing their assignments. Santos looked like a football player again today with the position switch. Maybe it had nothing up do with Armstrong and more to do with coaching. Maybe?

Actually I heard that he didn't have turf toe a couple of weeks ago from a very reliable source. Didn't know that they were broken but I believe what Taylor said is true.

I'm pretty sure the coaches knew exactly how hurt he was for the UCLA game.

Armstrong has put the ball on the turf! Is it Taylor's fault the Beck calls a play that isn't suited to his skill set? That would be like asking Frazier to be a pro style pocket passer. As far as his passing goes I'd say a 9 TD's and 1 interception and a 67% completion rate over the last 15 games is pretty good.

Armstrong has put the ball on the turf. Fumbled a snap yesterday. And fumbled in his first start. As far as running the option goes I blame Beck for those problems. Taylor is not a option QB and those plays should be ripped from the playbook when he is in. You guys act like taylor hasn't done anything at NU that us worth praising. Your going to get sick of Tommy's turnovers pretty soon because even in the first two games when everybody was anointing him as the greatest QBof all time he was making the same bad throws he made today. He just wasn't paying for them because those defenses were terrible. He won't have that luxury anymore.

I didn't think SJB led with the crown on his helmet. Thought he was using his shoulder and the side of his helmet made contact with the players facemask. Either way that rule is total BS and needs to go after this season.

If you can't see all of the young talent on defense then you should think about some glasses. As far as Bo being a angry man. I played for coaches that got in your face when you weren't getting it done and they really didn't care what the parents thought about their coaching style. I would run thru a brick wall for those guys even today and count those guys as some of my best friends. I think your the angry man.

Just rewatched the game again and concentrated solely on the linebacker play. I think Santos is still thinking a little to much and not attacking the point of attack. He lets ball carriers of blockers come to him instead of meeting them in the hole. Thought Rose and Afalava did a little better job of this but at times looked like they were making incorrect read which is to be expected with their lack of experience. When Gerry gets everything figured out he will be a good one. He flies to the point of attack but is only making the correct read about half the time. Our future looks very bright, just hope the light comes on before northwestern.

His offense was very serious and he isn't coming back. Joseph is doing a great job. Maybe your forgetting that teams only completed 47% of their passes against us.

Your right he has the body of a man but can you honestly say you were a man at 23? Might point being that Taylor has given he blood, sweat, and tears to this program and has done many great things here. Is he perfect? NO. If he played hurt in the NFL he would be called a warrior but here he gets ridiculed. If you listened to the post game press conference Bo said that we ran mostly a 1 gap scheme against UCLA and played a lot of man coverage. Which worked pretty well in the first half but once they made some adjustments things went down hill in hurry.
