  1. That's something to get excited about. Bronson could be a serious pass rusher. Lloyd Tubman was supposed to get an offer durring his in home from Bo today and is visiting the 31st. Tubman runs a 4.5 as a DE. That is serious speed.
  2. If someone could make 2014 recruiting profiles for Lloyd Tubamn that would be great. I couldn't figure it out. Tubman is a PSU commit but is now visiting us on the 31st. Thanks!
  3. rated a 3 star by ESPN with a score of 77.
  4. @kweish_the_great "I don't know if Tempe is ready for us @e_lauderdale #FU" I think both of these guys are ASU bound unfortunately.
  5. I would be more than happy landing either of them. Wilbon seems to be better in space than Avery, while Avery seems to be capable of more punishing runs. Because I think Avery runs somewhat similar to Adam Taylor, I might lean more towards Wilbon. But once again, I would be very happy with either. I think I like our chances with Wilbon more at this point as we are competing against Vandy while Avery is visiting Texas.
  6. Farmer is a Nebraska commit, and therefor was forgotten.
  7. Recently said he might want to stay in-state. That is strange just looking at the recent official visits he has been setting. No Florida schools that I see.
  8. Please God make him a Husker
  9. I like our chances here. Has visited Northern Illinois, once he visits here I think he will be blown away in comparison and commit soon after. Position of need too.
  10. Nobody thinks that he may end up following coach to PSU? Or at least check it out?
  11. Those arms would fit right in with our rb's.
  12. Haha my bad. I meant "stress" not "stree." Also I cannot figure out how to edit it and this thread has gotten way off topic.
  13. It was electronic timed at a SPARQ combine last summer. I suppose you flew down to Louisiana with your 40 electronic machine timer and recorded a different time? What did you clock him at? Since there is no way he increased his speed over the course of the year at all. I clocked him at the same speed your brain apparently works: 0. You realize that kids just don't drop .4 seconds off their 40 just by getting 6 months older and doing a few squats in the weight room. Of course he can get faster, but it is quite marginal. A dramatic improvement would be -.1 or -.15 seconds. So let's say he worked his ass off, matured a little bit, that still puts him at the 4.77 range. Look, there are things to like about him. He uses his body well, which isn't always guaranteed for all big WR. He seems to have pretty good hands, but we don't know that for sure because WR isn't going to put drops on his highlight film. But no one can right minded put his speed or athleticism on the top of this kid's list. I didn't say he ran a 4.4 did I? I just said he doesn't run a 4.87. Also, as a HS kid, if you've never ran the 40 previously, if you mess with mechanics a bit its easy to shave off some time just due to that. Nope he is at the top of the list because he is 6'4 and can snag the ball out of the air. If he is raw it is very possible he had very poor technique in his 40. He could have gotten marginally faster over the season and improved his technique. I agree he runs better than a 4.87. That being said, definitely not a speedster.
  14. I like his build. I wanted to see him blocking in his HUTL but they didn't show any of that. Definitely has the build that we need.
  15. worse than kentucky last year?? Oh God no... Don't even mention that, I am still bitter haha
  16. I really hope so, I really really like this kid. In my opinion, he looks more comfortable and throws better in the pocket than Darlington. That being said, we didn't get to see much of Darlington this year obviously, so he likely would look better than his junior year.
  17. Dude would have run down a running back if there were another 10 yards of field. Great speed. I agree, a rs year to bulk up and learn some technique and we could have a pretty good DE here.
  18. Foster looked like the most dominant run blocker in the game tonight. Wasn't a liability by any means at pass protection either. Really loved the way he mauled his man and finished blocks. Great use of leverage.
  19. Foster is impressing me the most. He is dominating his man every snap.
  20. Foster nailed a guy on that failed screen
  21. I don't know whether or not Ameer Abdullah will be leaving for the NFL draft this year, but if he does do you all think that the staff will try to bring in another RB or two? I have kind of assumed that Ballage has moved on and Avery is thinking Texas, so what other RBs are we looking at?
  22. Here's what I have for next year - (I think this list is based of yours from a while back). Seniors (14) - Ameer Abdullah, Kenny Bell, Tyler Evans, Jamal Turner, Jake Cotton, Matt Finnin, Mike Moudy, Mark Pelini, Jay Guy, Tobi Okuyemi, Zaire Anderson, Joshua Mitchell, Corey Cooper, Harvey Jackson Juniors (17) - Imani Cross, Andy Janovich, Taariq Allen, David Sutton, Givens Mordi Price, Ryne Reeves, Zach Sterup, Chongo Kondolo, Randy Gregory, Kevin Williams, Aaron Curry, Max Pirman, David Santos, Daniel Davie, Jonathan Rose, Charles Jackson, Mauro Bondi Sophomores (19) - Tommy Armstrong, Terrell Newby, Alonzo Moore, Jordan Westerkamp, Sam Cotton, Cethan Carter, Paul Thurston, Corey Whitaker, Greg McMullen, Avery Moss, Vincent Valentine, Maliek Collins, Kevin Maurice, Jared Afalava, Michael Rose, Josh Banderas, Nathan Gerry, LeRoy Alexander, Gabe Miller Redshirts (13) - Johnny Stanton, Adam Taylor, Kevin Gladney, Greg Hart, Zach Hannon, Dwayne Johnson, David Knevel, A.J. Natter, Courtney Love, Marcus Newby, Boaz Joseph, Drake Martinez, D.J. Singleton That leaves us with 63 right now. Add in the 19 currently committed and we're at 82. I'm guessing they already know of at least 2 that are packing things up. Likely Guy, Moss. That's 5. Then there's always 1 we don't see coming. I definitely think we can sign 25, possibly a couple more. History shows that by August we're always 3-4 schollies short of 85. I don't see any walk-ons that jump out as deserving. Maybe Roach or Burtch. Hate to say it but I think Ameer will be headed to the draft.
  23. No. I read that he was just being put on the roster.
