All of the recent crystal ball predictions have him coming to Lincoln! If we land Slade this would be in my opinion the most exciting D-line class we have had in a while. Mostly because there are so many instant contributors.

What are your guys thoughts on his film? Looking at his Hudl highlights I like what I see. I am curious to see if the coaches may either have him lose a little weight to get him quicker off the edges as a pass rusher or if they keep him where he is at and move him to DT in pass rush situations and keep him at DE in run stuffing situations. Seems like he had a nose for the ball too.

I have watched this kid play basketball a few times as well and very impressive athleticism. I am guessing Stanford is the school to beat with him.

Kid can go to school wherever he wants to that does not bother me at all. Decommitting doesn't bother me either. It's the time in which he is decommitting that gets on my nerves. He just left in a point in the recruiting process where we have no time to replace him. Watch, tomorrow he will decommit from ASU and commit to Houston

Completely agree. It was perfectly clear that we needed a lot more of it during the Big10 championship game. Exciting times to be a huskers fan!

Jack Fordon, when you compare his camp results, is the most physically gifted line backer that the Huskers have committed. With some solid coaching this kid could be a household name one day. Really like this one! GBR

I hope posting a topic on a walk on player isn't frowned upon but look at this kid's height, weight, 40, bench, and squat. Compared to the likes of Banderas, Fordon is a superior athlete. Maybe with some Huskers coaching we have found ourselves a gem. I really do have high hopes for this kid. Once again sorry if this is frowned upon but why not show a walk on stud some love?

I think this kids best asset is that he has great hands. He got lit up on a few of those catches and held onto the ball. Making of a good slot receiver with reliable hands. But Huskers everywhere only want to know..... "Can he block!?"

Generally rule is if anyone that tries to snipe one of Nebraska's recruits late, they are a creep/scumbag/d-bag that lies, cheats and straight up pays recruits to come to their school. If Bo and company do it, they just are following through the recruiting cycle, making sure that they make all the offers they can to all the players that they can make a difference to the team. nailed it. glad to see we are all on the same page

He said that he is being recruited as an athlete by Nebraska (obviously) and they are looking at him as either a slot receiver or a corner back. When asked which he would prefer he said corner back.
