I think all the rest of our games can be very dangerous. If you think about it all of the teams that we have left on our schedule would like nothing more than to ruin our season. KU hasn't won against us since the wheel was invented, MU, KSU, and CU always want to take down the Big Red, and OU should be upset that our coach called their fans some upleasant names last year. I'm walking the fine line between nervousness and excitement for all of these games.

I couldn't agree more. I'm still relatively new but everything is great so far.

As far as Coach of the Year goes Charlie Weis Weis is using Ty's players, but there has been an attitude change in South Bend and he is responsible for that. He shouldn't win it on the fact that he pulls his pants up to his man boobs. He looks like an 80 year old women with his sweats up that high. I was thinking the same thing about his man-boobs the other day. There's absolutely no need for his pants to be up that high. What size bra do you think he could wear?

They did have their student section behind our bench. I know this because before the game the students at Baylor all ran out and did a lap around the field and lined up and made a path for the team to run out through. I was wondering why there weren't any fans behind out bench but all of their students filled it up after leaving the field in their pregame "ritual".

Wish I could have been there. If there was another side of the stadium that was similar to this pic, I stand in awe. Great job!! Gotta love the support the Huskers get in Texas. With all of the D1 schools in Texas, it is amazing the Huskers draw so much support down there. I guess people have good taste everywhere. A true example of Husker Nation. The other patch of fans wasn't near the size as the one in the picture but it was still impressive. I'm guessing these were just fans who bought tickets from Baylor and couldn't get a seat on our side of the field so they started their own section opposite us.

I'll admit it. I was one of the fans who jumped all over Coz when the defense didn't look good last year. But I'm realizing now that I was wrong. Is there a defense in the country that has made a bigger turnaround in one year? Not to mention we have our 2 starting OLB's out. I know a big reason for this turnaround is the players buying into his system, but what has he done different this year to get the players to buy in that he wasn't doing last year? If anyone knows... do tell.

I think the coaches of teams in the Gulf Coast deserve some recognition for keeping their teams together during the early parts of the season. Sure they don't win coach of the year but what they've done, getting their teams prepared to play football with everything else they had going on, was just amazing.

Why haven't I ever heard of this guy until he made that TD catch? With his size I think he can probably make an impact on this team.

Great info Nameless. I sure hope you're right about him commiting. I'm always excited to pick up talented in-state kids.

If we're going by numbers only I think the a Tech QB would have won the Heisman the last 3 or 4 years. The stats the put up are just insane. Unfortunately I don't think Tech gets enough recognition by the media for him to be even considered. The don't get half the support that texas gets by the media here in Texas. I think Hodges has more of the intangibles that the last couple of Tech QB's lacked, but he's no Lineart or Bush.

Who should we use as a spy though? A linebacker? Maybe Bullocks? It may also be a good idea to run more of a 4-2-5 and use a faster player like Shanle as a spy.

What they don't show in that picture is the other side of the field where we had another pretty good size patch of red. There was also red scattered randomly throughout the stadium. I was sitting in the mini-sea of red though. Our fans were truly amazing there. I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to be a part of it. I think the players really appreciated it too. Many of them pointed towards us and kept pumping us up throughout the game.

I also saw those open recievers that ZT missed on Saturday. I counted 3 that could have resulted in big gains, possibly touchdowns. However, on all of those plays, he was looking for his primary reciever and when he realized that he wasn't open he hit the check down reciever just before he got hit. So in that regard i'm not upset about missing the open recievers.

Our D is gunna take the field and think "black out.. thanks for the support Mizzou"

Maybe the coaches really like McNeil so they backed off on some of the others. Who knows, maybe we've already got our stud TE of the future.

One stat that's not included by Nameless is heart and determination, and in that category we completely own the Tigers. Our team won't give up... ever. I don't know if we can say the same for Mizzou. Armistead I love your views on Missouri. Nothing brings a smile to my face like someome calling Mizzou's D a piece of sh**. Keep stickin it to em.

The teams that we have beaten haven't exactly had great years so I think strength of schedule is working against us more than anything right now. Sure we almost beat Tech, but we almost got beat by Pitt, and didn't look all that impressive against Maine.

I highly doubt that Coffman looked at Mizzou and said "oh they don't win why don't I go there". Isn't he from Missouri? I think that explains why he chose them. I agree with Nameless and I would take him over Phillips any day. They also have a couple dangerous recievers that I wouldn't mind swapping for.

That guy with the mullet has Mizzou fan written all over him. I can just see him on his computer chatting with his fellow Missouri fans. Mullet guy#1: Hey man, you goin to the game this weekend? Mullet guy#2: Yeah of course, who are we playing? Mullet guy#1: Nebraska Mullet guy#2: Oh s***! Mullet guy#1: Yeah, we're f***ed.

You were right in thinking that I meant from game 1 to game 6. I probably should have made that more clear. Grixby would definitley be my pick on D.

I read that he's 6'4. Why haven't we seen or even heard of him before the Baylor game. Isn't this the kind of WR we need? If he starts playing more couldn't it also affect recruiting since we would have him and Swift, both being freshmen, and getting PT. Hopefully that one catch wasn't a fluke because i'd love to see another WR step up. Just makes our offense that much more dangerous.

Best of Luck on your operation Nate! I have an uncle who's had tons of knee surgeries and a friend who had surgery to repair scoliosis but nothing quite like what you're having done. Let us know how it goes and hopefully the Skers will win some games for ya, that's speed up recovery time right?

It'll probably be a similar feeling when I move up from Texas next year. I can only imagine what it feels like to get out of the heat.
