  1. Mario Goodrich probably. How good is Goodrich?? I love these recruits, but last year it seemed we were in on top ten guys ( Sarell, Lewis, Holmes) . Are any of the potential Huskers on that level? I also realize the degree that the Huskers were in on those guys is debatable.
  2. Anyone have a scouting report? How does he compare to the wideouts from the 17 class????
  3. Gotta love Bookie!!!! He seems so physically advanced already. What he is like as an upperclassman is a delightfully scary proposition.
  4. Reading an article from February, Trout mentions being close to other Missouri guys, Ronnie Perkins (DE) and Cameron Brown (WR) and how they all have essentially the same offer list except for Brown. One school that has offered all the players, Nebraska. Same article mentions the huskers backing off a bit recently with Trout. These are a group of guys that are right in the backyard that can help.
  5. At this point in the recruiting process, it's usually becoming clear who priority targets are in a class. Could anyone take a guess on the top targets in the 2018 class? Is it Bookie then everyone else? Trevor Trout is my #1. Could be a transformative class.
  6. I know he's older, but Lee just appears to be so much bigger than O'Brien.
  7. Who else needs to offer? He has offers from damn near every top team in the country Could use one from the Peru State Bobcats.. Otherwise I think he's good ha. I can't imagine anyone else would offer now that would be able to play catch up. Definitely there for the competition. That makes sense. Just curious of the thought process of going cross country your senior year away from friends, family, etc.
  8. Has he had any more offers since transferring to IMG? Just wonder why move across the country if you are going to accept one of the offers you received when at your original school.
  9. Why are people down on POB????? If Gebbia has a similar redshirt season, will he fall from grace, too??
  10. You mean the balloons? Lackofworries And the balloons...
  11. Strange list of offers. Love the Twitter handle, though. The!
  12. Stanford uses it the most. I'm not sure, but I believe it skirts some NCAA rules about coaches contact throughout the week. Anything that saves players from getting tackled is a great thing.
  13. This kid rotating with and playing next to Damion Daniels..... Good luck, B1G West. My number one target next year
  14. This kinda plays into exactly what KJSr said about camps. So Lewis is good at football, but they are worried he will no longer be good at football because he isn't thrilled with running around cones at camps they sponsor? He'll be very good. And in the NFL.
  15. As soon as he get someone to have a breakout year and have 100+ catches for over 1000 yrd rec he will land a 5* no doubt Lindsey's comments about KW coaching guys up to and in the NFL was something that stood out to me. The more he cements himself as a go-to source for Wideouts, the more players from all over will be lining up to play for him. You watch his videos on Twitter and he has a real connection with the kids. His dedication to technique is fantastic. He'll get that 5 star soon enough. Maybe even Jalen Hall, The fanbase would lose its mind!
  16. Already pumped for next year. A full press of Donte, Keith, JP, and Diaco is exciting. Keith Williams is going to land a 5 star eventually. Hoping it's coming next year
  17. This. This class is reminiscent of PSUs class three years ago when they started putting things together. Difference is, I personally believe the Huskers to be a more desirable program with better recruiters, facilities, and coaches. This is the start of something big!
  18. Other than a big arm, anything else stand out? Trying to get a scouting report for him and POB to base expectations.
  19. What happened? Is this all speculation or did something actually happen???
  20. Diaco offered him at UConn. It's not like it would be completely random. It's not as much offering a 2 star linebacker as much as building good will with NJ high school coaches down the line with the 4 and 5 star players you would otherwise be starting fresh with. I'd be curious to know if Diaco may have made a call to the kid to just talk, that alone is a good look.
  21. Then everyone complains about NU offering a scholarship to a kid with offers from only Ivy League schools and formerly UConn. Plus, Ivy League schools don't offer athletic scholarships. Ivy League schools have been getting around this with loose rules for needs based aid. UConn is not only getting ripped about this by the media, but across Jersey by HS coaches. Nothing about his offers or schools mentioned indicate he's looking to leave NE or the East Coast, so even by just offering him you would make more progress with your image and building connections in Jersey than by doing months of fruitless recruiting. He runs his own charity, has fantastic grades, and is currently one of the most popular high school players in the country. Good publicity is always good
  22. Cav is very respectful to take off his shoes.
