  1. I forgot how we make the hiring and firing decisions.....give me a freaking break the fans are the one thing that's holding this program together. The "fans" are trying to burn the whole place down. Again, if you can't see the extreme negative effects of firing a 1st year coach, then I'm at a loss for words. A-men. So, we fire this 1st year staff. What do we do if our record and progress is similar to this year with next year's coaches? Do we fire the next staff? Why not? We've already set a precedence by firing this staff after one year.. Agree with the extreme negative effects of firing a 1st year coach and I've been at a loss of words for a month now. Since that is when that crazy talk started to surface.
  2. I fit into #1 cause I wear a jersey and I get bonus points for being over 250lbs..! whoo hoo! I wear a jersey cause I find it cooler than cotton on a hot day at the stadium.. That's just me. I always enjoy the "Guy who has a negative comment after almost every play"....

I could not find it when I searched. Yep! no problem. I decided to go ahead and ask to be included in the process. I like where I'm sitting, but I figure it doesn't hurt to check things out. I'll just stay put if I don't find something I like better.
  4. Here is the info. I like this idea. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&ATCLID=209388703&DB_OEM_ID=100
  5. I'm curious about the experience of the east upper deck last night from anyone who sat up there? Outside of the moaning and groaning about the game of course. :-)
  6. They are coming today....I can feel it...
  7. Here is a link for the shuttles: http://www.lincoln.ne.gov/city/pworks/startran/programs/bigredex/ The closest coming from the west would be: MSC/Airport (I-80 Exit #399) NW 12th & W Bond (turn right just past McDonald's) There is also parking @ haymarket park. I think they charge 20.00 if I remember right. Although, you can park west of the stadium across the street (Sun Valley Blvd) for either 5.00 or 10.00. The field across the street can be a bit more of a walk, but I've taken my kids when they were 5-8 years old and parked there. Kind of depends on how old your kids are. :-) I live in NW Lincoln and my rule is usually to leave about 2 hours prior to kickoff (at the latest).
  8. Nice blanket statement that makes zero sense......... It doesn't matter if someone wants to wear a jersey or not, as long as they're wearing Husker gear I'm good with it. I don't see why any of you care anyways? Can't wait for the season to start because threads like this are exactly the reason why. The O.P. just asked where he could get one, not if anyone thought it was okay for him to wear it or not. I played football for several years, I know plenty about football, I have two Husker jerseys...................your statement doesn't jive. Agreed. I personally wear a jersey to the game on hot days simply because I find it more comfortable. I also couldn't care less what other people choose to wear. The only people I shake my head at are the ones that can barely walk by themselves after the game (sometimes before too). Otherwise, wear whatever the heck ya want! my two pennies.

    Row 84

I was thinking hydraulic seats up there would be sweet. The entire balcony could lean forward and back after every touchdown...then you'd be all set!

    Row 84

There is something to be said about comfort...

    Row 84

When you say they "were moved" did you request a move or did they reassign you? Did it have anything to do with what you were willing to donate? This topic has come up before and there seems to be differing opinion. As for me, I'm excited to check out my new seats in the new East Stadium (which I requested). Good question. I requested the move. I have also heard stories of others that have been reassigned because of what they were willing to donate. Not this year, but in the past.

    Row 84

So, My season tickets were moved to the SS row 84 and I'm getting anxious to check out my new seats. I'm guessing I'm not alone. Anyone else anxious? Where were your seats moved from/to? (or brand new seats)
  14. As of today, my confirmation letter didn't arrive. Yet, my account shows that I've been moved. So, I called the ticket office and they confirmed I'm indeed moved. I live in Lincoln too! Stupid postal service! :-) Anyways, I'm pumped! Anxious for the first game already! :-)
  15. I also noticed last week that my tix were moved and noticed the info went missing. (I'm guessing it wasn't supposed to be showing officially yet). Good news is it looks like the tickets are showing again! If it helps any, I've been using the donor website instead of logging into huskers.com first.
