  1. OMFG! Lee Barf has sharp critiques of a new fad, what a grumpy Gus. The blackkshirts worked for a half (whatever that is worth) plus don't we give away those things to the Defense? So is it really a strech to wear a color that the team uses? <Insert comment about attracting recruits> but kids do like the alternate duds so why not support the team? Last I checked we were the Nebraska Cornhuskers not the Nebraska Lee Barfs, somedays he should go for a long walk off a short pier before he publishes his thoughts.
  2. shout out to Fro Daddy haven't seen you since 2010!!!
  3. Game prediction: Taylor Martinez chugs a Mountain Dew from his boot on the sideline against Purdue.

  4. There is a lot of time left, those predictions are trash for the most part. The strech of games in November is something to worry about with regards to our Defense. Maybe CBS Sports should start predicting lotto numbers as well. ***EDIT: Taylor sMartinez***
  5. That there is way too much hate for a QB who has given his all to the program. Likeing what we saw from Tommie but I'm kinda hoping Taylor will have a monster game to shutup the haters. Seriously some our fans are worse than the K-State student section ala 2010 directing their rage a Taylor. Go choke on some Hater-Aid haters, Martinez has never said anything bad about the program.
  6. OK..you can lock the thread now...they're all here... Not so fast my friend Now lock'er up
  7. NEBRASKA: 44 ILLINOIS: 41 GROUND: 299 AIR: 217 *WHY YELLOW COMIC SANS? FUKKKK UR EYES THATS WHY #YOLOSWAG420MLG
  8. Bo: "GET ME SUM F'lNG RIBS!" Pap: "Mmmm...Sweet Baby Rays." (Meanwhile we are getting skullfu*!ed up the middle again on a 25yd run.)
  9. Why? We had absolutely no problem with mental toughness when we were down in several games last year. Because it's something cool to bitch about. If we lose a game, the team isn't mentally tough. Simple as that. Cool story bro, that was last year with seniors leading the defense. Where is that leadership to rally the troops this year? Running out the clock against Wyoming, getting depantsed by UCLA, and smashing two cupcakes is hardly a comparison to last years squad. I know I harked about the Defense last year but those guys had grit and determination. Didn't we just hear that they are NOW practicing tackling? I am not here to bag on the players, I believe they are not being placed in a position to succeed.
  10. Here is my question (if it has already been posited please tell me to shut up); If Illinois jumps to an early 14-0 lead, do the Huskers give up and play dead? Mental toughness IMO is the big concern.
  11. Forecast for Saturday: Cold winds blowing. The ghost of Bob Devaney will haunt Husker Nation.

Whereas warmth twas shared between brethren in days yonder, the olde gray hairs in northe stadium shivered as they felt his spirit go by. Permeating sorrow crept betwix the forlorn souls populating our gray lady. And we wept.

  13. Look at this and let's draw parallels and pontifications about the rest of the season.
  14. Just watch a game where they coach and you will see them getting emotional and yelling, Saban flips his lid even when he's winning. I seriously wonder if you've played a competitive sport at any level, because if you have and you ever f'd up you would know you were going to get yelled at. Maybe not by your head coach, but a position coach will more than like chew you out. Sometime you've got to raise your voice to reach someone. I'm not going to defend a coach who degrades his players verbally, but from all accounts Bo isn't doing that. Further more he's been very relaxed this year compared to years past, I've watched him on the sidelines at every game this year, and unless guys are screwing up the same way over and over, a la Evans tackling, Santos poor play, corners blowing coverages, he takes them aside and just talks to them when they come off. If Bo is such an evil guy why do his former players constantly come up to bat for him when the fans or the media are ripping him? Evil? Lol. Ok, no crap coaches yell. Lets move this to the Woodshed if you are going to hurl insults. I'll be waiting.
  15. At least Brian Kelly has been to a National Championship, Urban's and Saban's records speaks for its self, and Will...don't care. Is yelling the modus operandi for coaches above? Do recruits want to come here so they can get yelled at on national TV?
  16. Real Leadership on display people move along I guess he is a passionate guy and I am at fault for not understanding.
  17. Thanks Keith Mann, err "Bo Pelini", for the apology. Moving forward, do the Bo Pelini antics continue? Will Bo continue to drop F bombs on the sideline, on his players, and refs? Lets hold him to his word and see if his boorish behavior changes under the magnifying glass now that ALL eyes are watching even closer. Look at Jim Mora Jr., that guy is a straight G. Kept his cool, stayed composed, motivated his players then came back and dropped 35 on us. Is the fan fan base asking too much wanting a professional on the sidelines? A coach who won't go ape sh#t when it goes sour? That negitativty becomes pandemic and it starts with Bo. If he can get a B1G title, awesome, if not well the door is right there.
  18. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to find out this person used their business email to send that tape to Deadspin. Someone dumb enough to encourage deadspin to publish that tape as an appropriate reaction to Bo's comment about Frazier would also be dumb enough to send it from work. Lazy, dumb, and vindictive. What a triple threat!
