All three programs have a different idea of what is a good hire for them. There may be some overlap on candidates but each program will likely have enough differing options. For example, USC may target NFL guys like Jeff Fisher and/or Jack Del Rio. 2 SC alums. Those are two guys we wouldn't target and don't make sense here.

I actually think Bo puts too much stock in practice reps. That's great that Thad knows what to do against the scout team on every defensive call, but we need someone that can actually control the LOS against guys that can play during games. He gets away with these personnel decisions against the weak teams, but when the competition increases they get exposed.

The only reason Richt would leave Georgia is because he'd be running from expectations, to a place that has high expectations. I don't see that as a recipe for success. I think he'd be using us as a fresh start and a last paycheck before he retires.

The silver lining is that we'll have a new coach after this season. Maybe one that values recruiting and the fans.
