  1. Im better with Mila Kunis.......pretty much doing anything.
  2. Hey, got to get an early start. F&%$ this is going to be a long offseason...
  3. Thats kind of freaking awesome, red Herbie silhouette looks good on black.
  4. Any word on if we are doing an alternate uniform for 2014? Haven't hated any of the 3 we've done thus far, love to see the trend continue if they don't totally screw it up. Like to see something like this: Don't want to have to see this:
  5. https://www.facebook...pages_video_set Apparantely I'm to stupid too poste an actual video
  6. I met a couple from Canada on my honeymoon in August who were quite familiar with the Huskers so it must be more recognizable than you would initially think.
  7. I wouldnt have even bothered to watch a preview. But your cast would actually be awesome.
  8. I've been looking into making one of those myself. I have the normal pen lazer grid you can buy. problem is it heats up, then shuts off when it gets to hot. Ive got the standard green one but it eats through batteries like crazy. The kinect provides an invisible grid that shows up on IR cameras. The software we run it through gives us a side by side IR camera and Depth camera ie. Night shot on left and depth via color chart on right.
  9. I take 3 fish oil pills and a CoQ10 every day and I feel like my metabolism has gotten better. I get full faster and dont crave food when bored as much. Im not a huge guy, Im just short and stocky so even the s.allest amount of extra weight is a nuissance. The sleep is a huge factor for me. Cutting out pop or at least in the afternoon should help you sleep better and will cut back on sugar. Caffeine kills me at night wheras my wife could chug a couple Dews before bed and zonk right out. Jiu Jitsu is a great way to cut weight. Sparring is an excellent workout and probably does more than you expect calorie burn wise. Good luck man.
  10. Yeah our model doesnt work nearly that well. That would be realy handy. It took a while for me to find the right volume level while doing EVPs with it as well so you could still hear our questions over the white noise. One of those tools that works well in certain areas and not so well in others. Ill try posting the video when I get home tonight but my partner came up with a really unique trick. It includes using an XBox knect camera as a laser grid/camera/depth sensor.
  11. the psb7 is scanning fm or am frequencies as well. So you will get some interference from radio stations. But so brief you can't make out what is being said. Best thing to do is have a voice recording going along with it. That way you can replay any possible responses and listen if it goes over multiple frequency sweeps. If it does you have evidence if it doesn't then it's outside interference. Im guessing yours has a much faster scan than mine. You can really make out the distinction of radio traffic. My issue with it is the devils advocate of was it so crisp and clear that it HAD to be a radio station. My favorite oieces with it have come overtop the white noise it generates from another area of the room. I usually chalk most its noises up to radio traffic though unless it gets the desired effect of interaction or correctly answering questions. A member on our team downloaded an ovelisk app we played with on our most recent case. Boy, it has some interesti g responses.
  12. Ill have to look into that one. Ours really only works well for generating white noise and picks up alot of radio traffic.
  13. I have some videos that i'm working on probably won't post at all as they are short and no evidence captured unfortunately. I have one on youtube that's a hour long. It's from my investigation at the Villisca Axe Murder house in Iowa. If youtube wasn't banned at work i'd post a link. Or if someone here wants to find it and do it awesome. Just search for Paranormal L.I.G.H.T.S. at Villisca Axe Murder House. My Channel is Ryan's Paranormal Videos. In it you'll hear some evps we captured, spirit box responses, chimes that I don't remember hearing at all when in the house. But heard frequently during the video. A door slamming shut and some other evidence we caught. What kind of spirit box do you use? Weve got one and Im on the fence with it.
  14. the tv shows are just for entertainment not real investigative work. Yea orbs don't excite me at all as they could be anything as pointed in previous posts. So i'll never submit one as evidence. Exactly. I dont mind sharing a video of an orb but thats the extent of itOur last case in Lincoln I spent roughly 20 minutes explaining why the Orbs the previous team caught werent gghosts. Had to take a camcorder and slap the carpet to show her how easily they could be created.
  15. Thats the thing about tv show. Its all about reaction. Reaction of the people there, creates the illusion you are there with them. When we ingestigate Ill set a handheld camera to record the investigators for the reason of capturing interaction. Im looking for them reacting to a noise or a feeling they get so if we xapture something on audio there is more footage to base the experience off of. When Ghost Hunters first came out I watched it religously. I based alot of their methods on what we do, but now its alot more commercialized. Ghost Adventures I never got into because they would try to stir sh#t up at a clients home that was already scared and leave the home in worse shape than they found it. And if anyone is familiar with My Ghost Story its all about fear. They flat out tell you when they contact groups about footage for the show that they dont xare about the equipment or scientific approach. They only want to hear how scared you were and portray spirits as evil.
  16. But yeah. Lots of dust, some bugs and a few headlight glares through open windows.
  17. Unless an orb has its own light source and does something totally erratic and significant, its dust. Night vision has come along farenough its easy to decipher whats legitimate in most scenarios.
  18. Last year I think they sold off all the stuff in the museum. Didnt get to meet Johnny Houser last time so hopefully will this trip. Were looking at going in April. Gotta go when the temperature is agreeable, I refuse to run any heating or cooling units to tamper our audio.
  19. what group are you in? I agree I've investigated the Villisca Axe Murder house. It's overwhelming and I can't stop thinking of it. Im cofounder of G.R.I.P. Theres a link on my profile to our fb page if you want to take a gander. As for the charge to visit, yeah its oitrageous. They are making an absolute killing, no pun intended, almost every night. It is literally booked solid for months straight. If they were truly in it for the research it woildnt be like that. I understand the cost of owning a building like this but the profits have to be unreal.
  20. Am I the only one who immediately heard Eye of the Tiger?
